Oh, snap. No, I haven't.

I just looked it up, though. I am in serious need of some blank CDs, like right this second.

EDIT: Or, was it actually a retail homebrew release?

Didn't felt that long to me. A solid read... and it's real nice when someone talks about Sega Smashpack. Sure it's got its setbacks, but its still a very solid collection of retro games. I enjoy playing it every so often.

noiseredux wrote:When I saw Revenge listed on the back of Smash Pack I got really exciting thinking “oh man, I hope this is the really awesome one with Batman, Spiderman, Godzilla and that forced-scrolling horse level!” But no. It’s not. Instead it’s a pretty good Shinobi game.
Just to clarify, Revenge of Shinobi IS the one with Batman, Spiderman and Godzilla in it, although I imagine they had all been edited out of it by the dreamcast game. The horse level is from Shinobi 3, so you were definitely mixed up there.

For what it's worth, RoS has quite a learning curve, but is easily my favourite in the series of the ones I've played.

Ah crap. See? Like I said, that whole era of Shinobi games is all mixed up in my head. But yeah Shinobi 3 would be my favorite of them all... apparently.
