I'll agree with Digimon, but the Sailor Moon dub makes me cringe to this day (And I watched it on Toonami, may it RIP). And it's not necessarily the voice acting, but rather the horrible slang-filled dialogue that I can't stand (The voice actors were actually pretty competent for their day. Or at least some of them were). No amount of nostalgia can overcome that for me now. And it wasn't just DiC who were guilty of that either. Cloverway was just as bad in the slang department. I guess they thought they could get brownie points for being consistent with their predecessors, but they thought wrong. Just because the show was made around the same time as Clueless, doesn't mean you have to use that same dialogue in your production.

I tried a couple of years ago and had to switch over to subs. The dub made my ears hurt. Have a little browse over in the series section at http://www.smuncensored.com/. It's a fun read and they make note of a lot of interesting changes.

Finished watching Wolf's Rain a couple days ago and I loved it, but man, that last disk.... . I don't think a show's so consistently choked me up before. Good watch, and I recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet, but it's going to be a while 'til I want to watch it again. Just remember you can skip Disk 4, eps. 15-18. Recaps are nice. But 4 episodes worth of nothing but
Just in reference to peoples discussion over sailor moon:there's a site called Toonamiaftermath that streams programs that aired on Toonami (Tenchi Muyo, Kenshin, Gundam Wing, etc..) as well as Cowboy Bebop and some other anime. It's a neat little site if anyone's interested in that sort of thing.
One of the interesting things they changed in the English dub was that two of the Sailor Scouts were supposed to be a Lesbian couple and it's pretty apparent that they were animated that way in the cartoon (Sailor Neptune and Uranus, one of them looks totally butch). But in the English kiddies dub they were made cousins.
Has anyone watched the new anime's of Iron Man and Wolverine that premiered on G4? I'm wondering what people's opinions are of this. I thought the Iron Man one wasn't bad, but they butchered Wolverines character in his adaptation...

And as for Sailor Moon ..... Yeah. I knew that. I didn't at the time though. Toonami had me completely fooled until Episode 110 when they're sitting at the window "holding hands." I remember sitting there watching that scene going, ".... .......Wait a minute....I'm not that close to my cousin." Then I did a little research on the internet and it made a lot more sense

Exactly. Couldn't they just made them really, really, REALLY close friends instead? Like I said above, I totally bought it until the 'hand holding' scene. And before I found out the truth about their relationship on the internet I found it greatly disturbing. What bothered me even more is that Usagi often referred to Chibi-usa as her cousin and it made my mind go to unsavory places it shouldn't have and it still sort of bothers me
