I see what you did there.

Well, not this morning! But rather, the other day, my gf and I shared these two:

Tonight, though, a couple of these.

Oh, for sure. No comparison. Guinness was all I had though next to me. I sort of live in a not so great area for beer. There's a place near where I work in Manhattan though that specializes in good beer, where I got the Founders. Brooklyn Brewery isn't that great though, but my gf really likes it.

Edited: That should be Brooklyn Brewery Chocolate Stout isn't as great. It's still great, but nothing on Founders.

The smoothest IPA I've ever had. That is to kinda say, it doesn't really taste like an IPA. I enjoyed it though, I'd get it again.

Smooth and IPA just shouldn't be in the same sentence. Newcastle 'brewery' are terrible. If an IPA is smooth it doesn't have enough hops in it. Don't get me wrong, a good beer should have balance but that particular beer is just plain garbage. If you can get your hands on it try Darkstar IPA, Thornbridge - Jaipur, Kernel - Black, Brewdog Punk IPA. Those are REAL English IPAs, hell even Fullers' Bengal Lancer is a better beer than Newcastle. Basically anything produced by Caledonian brewery is utter garbage. McEwans 80 shilling is about the only decent thing they make and it's only good in cask. It's total bollocks in anything else.

Not bad, sir.

Last night was me an a bottle of Andre's. $4.85 champagne goes down smooth...after the bubbles go away. Even then it's still kinda rough, relatively speaking.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
