Did you do all the daedric quests?
is the Bard's College a full questline? What do you get for it? Can you become Bardlord?
Not really. It's basically one story quest and three fetch quests. And I completed the hard part of the story quest while doing another quest.

I have a question for the PC users: Keyboard or 360 Controller?

Most of my PC gaming has been point and click adventures, but I did play WOW for a while and got used to the wasd layout.
So what would be a better way to play Skyrim- Keyboard/Mouse or 360 Controller?

Depends. In general, I'd say KB/Mouse for PC gaming - it's so common that getting used to it (if you're not already) is a good idea. It'll typically mean you can jump into most games and just use the default controls, versus trying to remap things every time (and complaining if you can't).

That said, one of the complaints with Skyrim is that the interface is really designed around a gamepad.. As is typical with Bethesda games, there are mods to fix this (namely SkyUI) if you wish.

Played an hour with the Keyboard and an hour with the controller, and I have to admit I prefer the controller.
I know that it is a PC game but you can definitely tell it was made for a console. I think I'll stick to the controller since it feels like more of a natural fit for the game and menus.

We've been given an announcement.... for an announcement. Full features of Skyrim's Dawnguard DLC will be given at E3. It's probably going to be Shivering Isles big if it's getting its own announcement like that. Expecting more than a CoD Map Pack or Horse Armor at least.

Hi guys. I finally joined the pack and bought Skyrim. :)

I'm a little late, but OMG THIS GAME IS SO COOL!

Heh, actually, I haven't even played enough of the game to say that, but I decided to start off modded rather than vanilla. I freaking love the Steam Workshop. It's so easy to mod the game now because you just sift through the workshop, subscribe, and everything installs on its own. This is the easiest and simultaneously most in-depth modding I've ever done with a game. My copy is so tricked out right now with 15 different mods for graphic updates, sound updates, and special features like being able to camp, have a sabretooth tiger as a companion, plant trees, etc. It's an amazing build-it-your-way experience of a game if you take advantage of the tons of wonderful mods out there.

Bumpin' this thread to 2013.

So what was the consensus on this game? Better than Oblivion? Worse?

Did they ever fix the PS3 version and have they talked about releasing a GOTY edition with all the expansions?

I'd say much worse than Oblivion. Oblivion was cliche on the surface, but I found a lot of unique and fun stuff to do in there, it had a lot of variety if you looked. Skyrim is boring to say the least, I've strongly disliked it since it came out.

Other people loved it at launch and I'm betting they still do today. I know they released all the expansions for the PS3, but I'm not sure they "fixed" it. I haven't played it since I beat it a little while after it came out, but watching everyone else in my house, it looks just as buggy as before.

I didn't really like Skyrim, but I did like Oblivion and Morrowind, I'm not exactly sure why, but Skyrim just wasn't my game.
