This month the Game Boy Player Land blog will be heavily focusing on the macabre. As a huge horror movie fan, I've always had a soft spot for horror-themed games. And though I've wanted to write about them in spurts all month, I thought it would make for a really fun October if I just saved all the posts up for this 1st annual Spooktacular. All month long I'll be bombarding the blog with posts relating to ghosts, goblins, witches and the like. This month on the Game Boy Player Land blog, everyday is Halloween.

Xbox - 7 years
Gamecube - 7 years
PS2 - 10+ years
DC - 9+ years
PS1 - 12 years
So how are you calculating these numbers? The Xbox was introduced in 2001 and discontinued in 2006. That's 5 years. The Gamecube was available from 2001 to 2007 which is 6 years.

System release date to last game (non-homebrew) released for the system.
Edit: Oh, yeah - and as a fan of horror-movie inspired games (going way back to the completely demented "Halloween" on the 2600), I'm definitely looking forward to the spooktacular, 'Dux.
Love the blog, noise! In terms of GB games, you might the only one covering all the cool random obscurities. I hadn't visited your blog for awhile, but I recently scored a lot of really awesome GB classic titles from Capcom/Konami and I immediately thought of GB Player Land.
Also cool: You rep the GBP. What an awesome piece of hardware!
Side question: How do GB games look on your HDTV with component cable?
