Honestly I would of just went with the PS4 version of Digimon, I know it wasn't even certain the vita port was gonna even make it to the US in the first place. I heard the game is pretty awesome I've never played a Digimon game nor did I grow up on the cartoon but looks colorful and fun so it on my wish list.

I can see the next Ys coming out on the PS4 (physically) too instead of the Vita. Disgaea 5 & Digimon did well on the PS4 so I can see the shift especially the a bigger install base means more chances to sell it.

Only that PSTV isn't so bad when taken in the right context.

It's probably the cheapest way to access PSOne classics on your HD TV, gives access to most of the PSP library, and includes some Vita games as an added bonus. (If you hack it to remove the whitelist before updating then the gaming selection is boosted nicely.) It's also super portable if you travel and want something with you.

PSTV is clearly not for everyone, has some serious limitations, only offers a limited selection of games, and will never be a "must own" piece of gear. But for a system that was getting blown out for less than $50 with a controller included, someone who isn't already plugged into the Sony eco-system can get a lot of gaming mileage at a low price.

PSTV is one of my main consoles, It loves me and I accept its purpose. Got my hand full of vita games that work for it and almost everything PSone/PSP I want is on it saving me money and I just purchase the ones that aren't for my PS1 console. Not for everyone though that's for sure, unfortunately they are now discounted I believe in all regions so now is your chance to get'em.

It's a great little microconsole, though I wish there were better compatibility for Vita games. Some that don't use the touch screen/touch pad/camera/microphone at all still aren't supported. I love mine, though, even if it doesn't get much love.

I love the vita too but yeah it doesn't get as much love as it should get. I don't feel like sony attempted anywhere near properly to market the thing. It just beyond blows my mind that it seems to have such great games and everyone is blowing it off in the mainstream for the 3ds(which another great system but both have great libraries...)

Anyone thinking of getting Mobile Suit Gundam Extreme Vs Force for the Vita (and hasn't already done so), be warned that the Asian version (featuring English subtitles) for some bizarre reason doesn't have any of the patches the Japanese version has had.

I bought it not realising and now I'm well pissed that we're stuck on 1.1, whilst Japan's version is on 1.3. They added some cool shit in 1.2 onwards!

Edit: Scratch that. I just read Japan is now on 1.4. What the fuck!?

Doesn't seem to be a typo.

Its under their deals section.

Going to try and order one.

I would want it complete, but for $5.00 I can buy it as is and exchange the box later!

EDIT: You should check if you have it locally. I dont have any near me and I have to pay $5.00 in shipping.

Now I really hope that it comes complete :|

Yeah, the closest Gamestop to me with one in stock was over 40 miles away. Definitely not driving that far for that game, but $10 still isn't too bad since the average online price seems to be ~$25, even with gambling on completeness.

Alright fellow Vita lovers, it's been a while since I did a "what's coming" dump. So here we go then. I'm going to post 2016 Vita releases here. With relevant links. These are games that either have released domestically in 2016, or are going to. I'll also throw in some imports at the bottom. This might be the last year of Vita lovin', but it's going out fighting strong!

Domestic 2016 (i.e. USA) releases:
