I don't think the new Zelda's "open-world" is going to be quite as open as other examples in the genre. I suspect you'll be able to mostly play as normal in a Zelda game.

I definitely wouldn't just skip over it just for that. I'm not a big open-world guy, either, but I've played a few that are quite fun. As long as they're not excessively padded with useless, samey sidequests, they can be just as fun as anything out there.

I really should get a 3DS at some point. The new DQ looks amazing.

Apparently Final Fantasy Explorers is getting localized as well:

Has a job system of some description so I've automatically got some interest.

I cant wait. FFE is supposed to be the "sequel" to the FFCC series.

I didn't know that! Cool. I really liked CC on GameCube, but I just tried the one on the Wii and I'm still not sure where I stand with that one.

Agreed, but best played with friends and on the DS. The wii build is alittle awkward.

Heh, maybe I'm talking about a different Wii Crystal Chronicles game than you guys.

The only other one I've played was Ring of Fates on DS, and its terrible level designs ruined everything else good about it. Took me 15 hours of solo play to accept that truth though.

For whatever reason I don't get headaches nor do I get terribly nauseas with the 3D on. With how stable and well-working as it is now I leave it on almost all the time which is something I never thought I'd say. Good job Nintendo.

Though it still does the slight ghosty thing with my glasses on - this hasn't posed a problem since I'm usually in bed without them when I'm playing.
