Now if there was only a hack or modification to get them to work on LCD. I know it's impossible because the software expects to see screen flashes and flicker which LCDs don't do. It's a shame this part of gaming history will eventually be lost to new tech. Tube TVs are getting harder to come by now that they aren't being readily sold at most stores now a days.

My fiance is also against me grabbig a tube TV just for lightgun games. Maybe when we move to a bigger place I might be able to persuade her otherwise to make a small game/office room separate from the living room.

A tiny 20'' set should only take up about a foot or so of room, but then again apartments in Japan can be pretty tiny, so space is all relative depending on your situation, the size or type of CRT you want, etc....

I just bought a lot of Saturn JP games. I am a little leary of the seller but fot $31.99 plus $3 shipping for 16 games want be to big of a hit. Its coming from Hong Kong from a 0 feedback seller. I thought at first they might be boot leg cases because of the english writing, but after checking my saturn jp games they almost all have english written on the reverse end label, and the #s matched up. The seller also sold at other JP and chinese auction sites and I didn't see any red flags, so I took the plunge.Tell me what you guys think , did I get ripped off? I hope this is real because these are some games I really wanted.

Certain consoles can be made to work on your LCD, unfortunately have not found one for the Saturn. There is one for the XBox, PS2 and newer. Lightguns that use a sensor light bar similar to the Wii will work on a LCD. For a more compact Lightgun alternate screen, a Dreamcast with a VGA CRT computer monitor will also work.

Wrote an article at my signature link.

Thought I would add a list of the games so you don't have to click the link. If I couldn't read it I used the serial # to find what game it is.
From left to right:
1. Burning Rangers
2. Nights into Dream
3. Kaitei Daisensou (Into the Hunt)
4. Layer Section (Galatic Attack) Anything different in the JP release? same for above.
5. Likle Liver Story
6. Touge King Spirits
7. Victory Goal 96
8. Thunder Force V This game alone makes it worth it to me, I still want the PS version just so I can have all Working Designs' games.
9. Panzer Dragoon Zwei
10. Shining Wisdom
11. Daytona USA C.E.
12. Thor Seireiohkiden (Legend of Oasis)
13. Layer Section 2 Another game worth the price of this lot, (crosses fingers)
14. Keiou Yuusekital (Keio Flying Squadron II) I think that is the game, but its hard to read, the little dragon pic helped.
15. Flash Sega Saturn Hen just game clip preview disc
16.Gungriffon

If they show up and are legit, looks like a great deal to me.

Sakura Wars: So Long My Love (PS2 Ver.) - $39.99

I've been waiting to play this series for over a decade and am excited as hell to pop it into my PS2. It's nice of NIS for them to make what's likely the last major PS2 release a Special Edition too.

Farewell sixth generation, if this is your last true title you will be missed.
My Consoles:

@pepharytheworm
Very nice find on that lot, assuming they're all good. I'd have taken the risk myself, no doubt.

@Mod_Man_Extreme
Still waiting on mine to arrive. I pre-ordered from Rozen Queen so I could get the RQ-exclusive Unforgettable Memories limited edition with the hardback artbook (meaning I'll be getting two artbooks...) and other stuff.

With it being the limited edition and RQ having insane shipping, it'll make this the most expensive game I've ordered in a long while. Should be worth it though.
