I got Silent Storm (PC) for 5 euro. Not bad, and I doubt I will see the game in the wild again, it's old and somewhat obscure.

I also got Half-Life Generation, a 4CD package with Half-Life and all it's expansions plus CS for 2 euro. I doubt it will work on Steam but it's not reallly important so it was a good deal for me.

I discovered a sealed Locomotion (PC) copy for 1 euro. It's not as good as OpenTTD and the maps being small reduce it's quality a lot but I heard it has a lot of mods around so I got it.

Now, let's see if I can find a Vampire Bloodlines copy around here. It's a Source game (So it will support triplehead), a good one at that and lately one of my girlfriends has picked my intereset in Vampire: The Masquerade.

All for $40 :D

My pass is signed by Tycho.

Oh, and I was given this 32" Sony Trinitron by my very nice relatives (for free). So really, all of this for $40:

A new local game shop opened up in my area, and happens to have awesome prices on older games. I picked up Raystorm (PS1) for $6, Ridge Racer Type 4 for $3 and Capcom Fighting Evolution (Xbox) for $4 this weekend. Each game was complete and in excellent shape.

Gekioh! I love that game. You have to try the "pocket mode". It simulates the game being played on a Pocket Station.

If you have the serial numbers and they were never registered on Steam they should. Go to 'games' and then 'activate a product on Steam'. If the code is good, you should then be able to download them so you don't have to fiddle with patching. I did this a few years ago when I picked up a used US version with the expansions.

Nice, 7800 pads with the thumbsticks. That Gekioh looks sealed too. I spy a little bit of hologram in the top right and that looks like pull strip across the rating box.

It is indeed sealed. It was mislabeled as $8 instead of $30, but the guy gave it to me anyway.

The 7800 pads were $25 for both :D

I got a PSone at Goodwill on Saturday. It was missing everything but the console itself, but what was there was in good condition. It was $6. I had all the cords and stuff I need at home, except the AC adapter, which I can get cheap easily. Since my PS2 isn't working, and I haven't worked up the will to open it up yet, I figured I'd like to have a PS1 to play that wasn't huge, grey, and ugly. And besides, the PSone's system menu is infinitely better looking than the PS1's. The whole paintball thing looked dumb. I probably like the PSone better because it was the first console I ever saved up for and bought with my own money. Before, I always used PC's or other people's consoles.
