I tried listening to Cecil's Rebel Yellow again, but I just can't stand that album. Makes me wonder if his mediocrity is eclipsed by the general talent of the other 6 members... It's been a good 3 or 4 years since I saw Cecil specifically live, but I don't even remember his set really. I don't like A Badly Broken Code much either, but I'll excuse Dessa any transgressions.

Marilyn Manson's first Born Villain single, "No Reflection", was released last week and I just got it a few hours ago to celebrate fixing my iPod Touch.

Unlike the previous version I had (the one released on Cooking Vinyl's YouTube page), which is the radio edit, the single version is about a minute longer and sounds a bit different in places.

Can't wait for the album. I just hope that when I buy it, I won't get charged twice for No Reflection, unless the album version is different.

I usually pick up Manson's albums - I have all of them including the last few very so-so ones. When is the next one out, and how would you describe it compared to his other work?

All I can say is No Reflection (the new single) is on iTunes and Amazon MP3, but you can probably find it on YouTube, same with the song from the Born Villain film (originally thought to be named "No Reason", its real title is Overneath (The Path of Misery)) and the 30-second clip of one of the songs (I Am Among No One). Oh, and a few users have uploaded a track called "I Am Among No One", but they're usually a remixed version of "This is the New Shit", but it's a good remix.

The track list was released recently, as was the news that Manson and Johnny Depp would be collaborating on a cover of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain".

You can find more information where I typically get it: MansonWiki.
