That would be interesting. Like Ex said previously, money laundering and stuff like that is interesting. Taking on a big corporation could be fun. That kind of stuff, along with racketeering, drugs, etc. can even involve a dead body somewhere along the line but it doesn't have to be the one and only focal point.ZeroAX wrote:hm....maybe an Edgeworth game where you prosecute the mafia?Exhuminator wrote:I strongly disagree with this. The other thing is if you make the cases shorter like we talked about before, you can afford to have less important cases if you knew there would be some pay off when it all came together towards the end of the game. It just seems like the effort put into these games is grossly misplaced. They put so much time and resources into padding the cases with nonsensical twists and long, drawn-out testimonies from so many characters, when I don't think they have to try so hard. Just make the cases as long as you deem fit, which will add more cases to each game and more variety, and make the focus about tying it all together in the final case or two.

Exactly. They could threaten him in all sorts of ways, kidnap his loved ones, burn down his office, make fun of his ridiculous cravat.ZeroAX wrote:hm....maybe an Edgeworth game where you prosecute the mafia yakuza?

Re: Nintendo 3DS
3DS SRPG lovin' homies! This comes out tomorrow in the US:

DEVIL SURVIVOR 2: RECORD BREAKER
I'm planning on buying it next week personally.
"I already have this on DS so what?" Here's what:
The remake-port features voice acting for most if not all dialogue, a casual mode, a new female character, and a new scenario that takes place after the battle with the Septentriones that can be accessed from the start of the game. The new scenario "Triangulum Arc" is no joke, and contains about as much content as the original scenario, it's practically a new game unto itself. Triangulum Arc is set after the original Devil Survivor 2 ending and is accessible from the beginning of the game. It follows a new demon invasion as well as a new character "Miyako". Here's a pic of her:

She looks pretty serious about stomping dem demons.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
^ I noted in other places I had this preordered because I wanted to try the series and the value was there (plus it's fun to buy new every so often). I cancelled though since I got a $2 copy of Skyrim and it's already taking over my life. With a 100 hour RPG on top of Skyrim, I'd have to be independently wealthy to have time for both games plus everything else I want to get to. Maybe in the coming weeks if Skyrim somehow starts to disinterest me I guess. I like Atlus and would like to buy more of their games I'm just not always aware of what they're putting out.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
It depends on what you're in the mood for surely. Skyrim being an open world action RPG, and Devil Survivor 2 being a linear turn based strategy RPG. Very different gameplay. Chances are when you're ready to get around to it, you'll still be able to buy this game new off Amazon.
As for what they are putting out, off the top of my head Atlus is also releasing these two games this year:
I'll be snagging those upon release personally.
