I haven't put my Snorlax in a gym in ages, possibly due to its low CP 988 meaning it's usually first in the pecking order. Mine is also a lightweight at 312.37 kg. What moves does yours have? Mine's got Zen Headbutt/Hyper Beam, but I hear Body Slam might be better for gym defense, but Hyper Beam sure is awesome to have attacking!

My Ivysaur is an evolution. I've seen Venusaur's shadow out here though. I did catch a wild Pidgeot today, but it's not nearly as good as the one I evolved w/ Hurricane.

As long as my original Flareon and Vaporeon can survive in gyms, I'll be happy.

Here's my Snorlax since you're curious
CP1095 - HP 156 - 283.38kg(xs), 1.45m(xs)
Lick + Earthquake

The Ivysaur is:
CP538 - 16.8kg - 1.1m -- HP 60
Razor Leaf - Sludge Bomb

And the Pidgeot I mentioned ended up having 796 CP, 90HP, and Steel Wing - Hurricane

Nice, all of those! I've never seen Earthquake being used before.

My Snorlax is "XS" at 312.37kg but height is 1.93m, no comments there.

Your Pidgeot's looking good too. Mine's CP1130 39.5kg 1.66m 103 HP Steel Wing/Hurricane, a good combination move set like yours.

and my Ivysaur is CP811 7.15kg (XS) 1.09m 75HP Vine Whip/Power Whip. I hope when it becomes Venusaur that it gets Solarbeam too.

The bad: Attacked a Mystic Gym that I thought was level 3 with only 2 Pokémon defending it -- turned out in the 2 minutes that I scoped it out, it ended up having *4*. When I saw the 4th Pokémon (my team was down 3/6), I hightailed it due to my near lack of potions, but I did knock its prestige down 1500.

The good: Managed to train a Valor gym to Level 7 with just one battle and added my Exeggutor in. It's 4th in the rotation, so I'm ahead 3 and behind 3. It should net me a triple bonus tomorrow morning (Flareon & Vaporeon are still holding their gyms from last week, the Level 10 gym is still @ Level 10 but my Vaporeon is now 4th in the order, for we did suffer a small attack but still at 52000 prestige.)

Flareon the first is out of the gym after a 125 hour stint! Officially the longest for now, but Vaporeon is going to 5 days today as well! With Exeggutor, I was only able to get a double bonus.

I'll be restocking for much needed potions later, with 9 new eggs, two of them 10km!

In less impressive news, I caught a second Scyther yesterday at a whopping CP 262...My first one is at 411. Then again my level 12 self only has a CP 719 Electabuzz with Thunder Shock and Thunder Punch.

My home and office are deadzones for pokemon. But on the way home I route through a commercial area and can hit a dozen pokestops so I will probably hit level 13 today.

How are you clocking how long you are sitting in a gym anyway? I don't see any journal notices about returns. I was curious to see how long I held that one gym for at least a few hours that one time I did it like last week.

I still wish I would see more variety in this game. I did see my first scyther shadow, but it was at extreme range and vanished pretty fast the other day which stunk. It has been sparse finding anything the last 2 days which is a shame. Maybe they're messing with things internally again.

I hit level 21 today, and have 91 pokémon caught after I evolved a Venonat into Venomoth for the first time.

I'm 1 Eevee away from a possible Flareon, 1 Horsea away from a Seadra, and 2 Shellders shoret of a Cloyster. Apart from those, it's going to take a while to evolve anything else yet.

Just caught another pidgey. Now I have 82 pidgey candies. As soon as I can evolve 11 of them, I am popping a lucky egg, evolving and sending them to slaughter. That should be most of a level.

EditL
Third pidgey of the day, now at level 13.

Incense is almost worthless. Took a walk at lunch with one on. What did it get me over and above my normal haul in that 30 minutes? 3 low-cp Weedles. That was it. Pointless.
