Were you referring to the battle against Magus?noiseredux wrote:I told you where I was earlier -- I had just gotten the sword and the Frog had just rejoined my party. And I'm glad I kept at it because that castle was probably my favorite part of the game up to now. So far I'm 8.5 hrs in.

I don't know what ending you got or how you got it....did you fight Lavos somehow before you got to fight Magus?noiseredux wrote:I haven't fought Magus yet. I fought Ozzie just now.

I got the frog, and the sword. We went to the end of time and went to that shiny thing that we were earlier told not to. This time it asked if I wanted to enter. I said yes. Then I was fighting Lavos.

Ah, didn't think to try that. Ok, makes sense to me. I fought him for the first time after getting a different mode of traveling through time, closer to 12 hours in. I am pretty sure now that I'll have to probably put closer to 25 hours in before I can actually beat him.noiseredux wrote:YES.dsheinem wrote:I don't know what ending you got or how you got it....did you fight Lavos somehow before you got to fight Magus?noiseredux wrote:I haven't fought Magus yet. that sucks. While admittedly I'm finding the game gets better over time (except for the caveman part) I don't really like the tease of being able to fight him ANYTIME but knowing that you just keep needing to get stronger to do so.dsheinem wrote: Ah, didn't think to try that. Okay, shuffled my list around for the final time. I decided to put my back-up games in and take out RE4 and Bangaio. I'm just not feeling those two and they were always kinda iffy.
So in their place: Castlevania: Circle of the Moon and Super Mario Kart Super Circuit.
I am taking a break from Tales of Symphonia to do some Circle of the Moon. I have owned this game for years but never put more than a couple of minutes into it. The games biggest weakness on the actual GBA hardware is that it is so dark - but on a GB player on a big screen TV, that really works for it. It makes the game feel like a poor mans Symphony of the Night.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Started Resident Evil Directors Cut today. I was almost a Jill Sandwich, but other than that it's a really fun game
Best voice acting ever IMO

Just wait until a certain scene with Richard. Tears are rolling down my face just thinking about it, brilliant, beautiful stuff.SwooshBear wrote:Started Resident Evil Directors Cut today. I was almost a Jill Sandwich, but other than that it's a really fun gameBest voice acting ever IMO

So far I've only found two guys, one from the "live action" cutscene, and the guy from the first seen zombie. I like how the helicopter just leaves them. RE1, RE3, and RE CV are the only ones I haven't played yet so I kinda know about the Mansion Incident.Xeogred wrote:Just wait until a certain scene with Richard.
