Really? Where are you from mate? Cause if you're from Turkey, Super Smash Bross Brawl was one of the few Nintendo games to drop in price fast here (mostly cause Europe is more of a Mario Kart crowd than SSB which is really popular in the states).BoringSupreez wrote: I can't remember SSBM ever retailing for less than $30, and it took years to go down to even that.

To reiterate a couple pages back, the "PSX" could refer to X being any number, thus meaning any PlayStation console.
N64/NES/FC/SNES/SFC/GB (SGB)/GBC (Black)(SGB)/FDS/Satellaview/Genesis/Mega Drive/Master System & maybe N64DD/GBC/GBA.

No one has ever confused PSX with a PS2 or PS3.BitFaced wrote:To reiterate a couple pages back, the "PSX" could refer to X being any number, thus meaning any PlayStation console.

Yeah but I have an RGB SCART cable that said "PSX" and was clearly also usable for DVDs from the PS2, so it applies there.BurningDoom wrote:No one has ever confused PSX with a PS2 or PS3.BitFaced wrote:To reiterate a couple pages back, the "PSX" could refer to X being any number, thus meaning any PlayStation console.

That's just because the PS1/2/3 use the same AV out aside from the US PS1 not supporting component.BitFaced wrote: Yeah but I have an RGB SCART cable that said "PSX" and was clearly also usable for DVDs from the PS2, so it applies there.

Re: Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?
1. The term "PSX" has been used to refer to the PS1 since before the PS2.
2. The actual PSX system is an obscure Japan-only release, and is of no concern to the average western gamer.
3. Everyone knows what you mean when you say PSX, it's not like there's any mass confusion.
4. The PS1 is now what, 18 years old? At this point it's too late to change what people call it.
5. This argument is incredibly asinine, even more so than the oXbox vs Xbox debate.
