I have a feeling Gamecube games on Switch are coming soon. Reasons:

31 July 2016: Digital foundry publishes a video investigating whether Gamecube/Wii emulation is possible on Nintendo Switch. To test this hypothesis, they use Dolphin Emulator on Nvidia Shield. Their findings indicate that games run well at the original resolution (480p); the same games scaled up to 1080p exhibit more unstable frame rates but are mostly playable.

My heart can't take it, son! Bayonetta 3 confirmed for Switch! I'm so happy! Nintendo should just buy the Bayo IP from SEGA and a big stake in Platinum. When Wii was making them cash they bought Monolith Soft. It's time to spend some Switch money and buy a big stake or majority of Platinum.

Bayonetta 3 isn't just coming to Switch, it's coming exclusively to Switch. I find that last bit highly satisfying.

I also read that 1 and 2 will be getting ported to the Switch as well. So good news all around.
