Well, that's a case for buying them in addition to the PS3 games I already have. It doesn't solve the original problem. Re;birth 1 is the one I'm most likely to buy, as I avoided the first Neptunia based on the horrible reviews.

Exhuminator wrote:Yes the Re;Birth versions change a lot of things, very different experiences. I mean I was pissed when they came out, because I already had the PS3 versions, and they were now made irrelevant by all the Re;Birth updates and changes. But I sucked it up and bought all three over again for Vita. I did it for the Nep.
I played the Re;Birth series first, and then I went back and bought the PS3 games (I plan to play through them once I have the money to buy the DLC).

Too bad Rebirth;1 isn't Vita TV compatible .__. I don't have a Vita yet so that's pretty lame for me.

I can't figure why it's not. It's the exact same gameplay as the other two. I guess IdeaFactory and CompileHeart just never got around to optimizing it for PS TV?

Grand Kingdom is headed to PS Vita this Summer.

It's a tactical RPG that is the spiritual successor to Grand Knights History, except this time there's supposed to be a single player campaign worth doing. It was developed by Spike Chunsoft and NIS America is localizing it and publishing stateside.

For a system so handily abandoned by Sony, it sure does seem to be getting a lot of support from the weebs. Myself included.

So... I don't like to bat around the word "weeaboo"... but how about something for those of us who do not enjoy RPGs starring big-eyed anime characters.

Are you saying within the Vita's current library, or upcoming games for the Vita?

Also, what genres do you prefer?

Then the Playstation Vita is probably not the right handheld for you.

In all seriousness, though, I thoroughly enjoyed the Killzone and Resistance games on Vita. Army Corps of Hell is also a enjoyable albeit somewhat repetitive game (and you get to be Satan, so that's always a plus). If you're into dungeon crawlers and don't mind that it feels NOTHING like the rest of the series, Silent Hill: Book of Memories isn't a bad game (I just personally hated it because of my overwhelming disappointment that it wasn't a real horror game, but the game itself isn't bad).

Any Vita game - past, current, upcoming - VitaTV support is a plus because I like console gaming more than handheld gaming.

I like arcade-style games. I dig beat 'em ups, 2D platformers, shoot 'em ups, fighters, et cetera. I don't dig FPS or RTS games - Leave those for the PC gaming master race. I don't care for RPGs much, but I will tolerate an action RPG over a turn based RPG any day. Dungeon crawlers and rouge-likes are too slow for me.

If the game values reflexes over plotlines, I'm interested. For instance, Shovel Knight = Good and Fire Emblem = Bad.

You're probably right. I've been on the fence about Vita for a while now. Maybe I'd be happier just looking into another console.
