Cute GS employee always asks me to fill out that online survey after shopping. Finally broke down and did so today. Maybe I'll win a gift card!

I must be old, still surprises me when I see a girl working at a game store. When I was a young school age lad you never met a girl that would admit to or even play video games. The other day at a local game store I was asking about one of the .Hack games and they referred me to a girl in her early 20's. Times have changed, or just passed me by.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Cute GS employee always asks me to fill out that online survey after shopping. Finally broke down and did so today. This month's game informer is really cool. Two sizable articles on the new Alien game and the Evil Within; and there's a pretty respectable top 25 horror game list.

If you don't mind, can you provide highlights of the Top 25 list? I'd love to know what's on it.Opa Opa wrote:This month's game informer is really cool. Two sizable articles on the new Alien game and the Evil Within; and there's a pretty respectable top 25 horror game list.

Honestly I perfer the lady's at gamestop to having to talk to a male worker any day....the girl I always see if I go to one of my locations is the nicest person I've ever met that works in a gamestop...most of the other people who are guys are total modern-game system snobs.wclem wrote:I must be old, still surprises me when I see a girl working at a game store. I have learned to just nod and smile and play dumb to those who "know all about video games because they are gaming gods" LOL
Smile and nod, smile and nod!
The the asshole at one gamestop who decided I needed and explanation about the difference between the Wii and the WiiU can kiss my ass. Though I just smiled and nodded and walked out. One of my few bad Gamestop incidents.

Surely not every female GS employee thinks they are Gods gift to gamers, but the ones I have met certainly think they are hot stuff.
No I'm not impressed that you are a woman and work at gamestop. No, I'm not checking you out and no I'm not flirting with you. I'm just buying a game so lose the 'tude.
I'm kidding around, but I am being a bit serious that there is some weird kind of aura about girls who work at gamestop who think they are much "hotter" than they are. I much more prefer the snooty guy employees who assume I know dick about games.

^ That list looks mostly like fps's to some extent and it doesn't surprise me at all

First-person is a widely used perspective in horror games... Not sure what you're getting at.
