You are clueless, per usual:

PlayStation 4 is Sony’s fastest-selling console at 20.2 million units sold

Sony: PS4 was the top-selling console of 2014 worldwide

And while MS is behind Sony, they have still sold 10-15 million Xbox One consoles at this point, which outpaces their sales of the 360 from the same time frame following its launch.

Software sales were down last year industry wide, which means that it would be dumb for MS and Sony to stop porting newer games to those older systems with a large install base - they need all the help in software sales that they can get. Besides, there's zero evidence to suggest that the availability of Destiny or Titanfall or Forza or whatever on last gen consoles is at all adversely affecting the sales of hardware for current gen consoles. If anything, the numbers that we've seen show that attach rate is quite good on new consoles at the moment (Sony also confirmed that the attach rate is just over four games per console).

Please stop jumping in to opine on things that can be demonstrably disproved. There's no "raising havok" (did you mean "wreaking havoc"?) going on at all.

Yeah... just because you release a new system doesn't mean you abruptly drop support of your old one like yesterday's news. There's a lot of money left to be made on the 360 and PS3, which helps with Sony and Microsoft transitioning into solely supporting the One and the PS4 eventually. Third party publishers are also buoyed by cross platform game development in that say a game releases for PS3/360 and PS4/One, with slight enhancements with the PS4/One versions. Cross ports like this eventually build enough liquidity to fund a PS4/One exclusive release. Such endeavors lead into PS4/One exclusivity over time when the overall demographics have shifted enough, and then publishers can focus entirely on those platforms with sustained profits.

I'm sure ds said something there rude and ignorant to contradict and/or insult me yet again (still blocked) reading your post.

I'm not talking cold turkey, but with the time the stuff has been out there I'm just saying things need to go away and switch over that's all. I'm not talking immediate like how MS pissed off people doing that with xbox when the 360 dropped. It's the watered down games on the new hardware with big titles I'm not liking as it doesn't engage consumers to step up if you keep coddling them. Once more stuff like Uncharted 4 and the like start popping up a lot more often that'll do it. Cross ports are fine in a limited amount for a short time, it should be expected, but to keep it up beyond a year I think is just hurting oneself. If need be drop the price of the newer console to make it a little more appealing if a lot of new unique stuff just can't make it out fast enough for whatever the reason.

He actually supplied info that supported what he said which would be the opposite of ignorance... particularly that sales and attach rates of new consoles are strong.

I meant more along the lines of his usual of calling me stupid or cherry picking information from a certain period to suit the needs. Either way, good for him I guess, but the block remains. I'm done putting up with annoying people in what's left of this hobby, so I block childish people whatever the site is.

You do realize that this entire post you just made is entirely childish behavior. You're putting your fingers in your ears and going "la la la I'm not listening".

dsheinem might be blunt, but he does his research. There are many words I could think of to describe his posting style, but "childish" would not be one of them.

Potato po-tah-toe.

When I'm done with someones behavior I'm done with it. For years I'd just engage in stupid fights and keep feeding into the crap. I just don't see a point anymore in having a forum pissing match with someone who trolls for sport even if they do give good info around or within the insults. If that makes me look like a kid, fine. I'd rather be a mature child who doesn't engage in stupid shit than an full grown adult man-child that keeps it going.

Exhuminator, how many of them are legit releases versus downloads? I'd buy Attack on Titan if it was physical but I found out it wasn't, same with Dementium. I'm all up for Puzzle & Dragons and Rodea too. I hadn't heard of rusty pup, have to check that out and see what it is. Are any of those New3DS games or are they still holding out 2 months for E3?
