Picked up an Information Society CD at Goodwill for $2 yesterday. I had no idea who those guys were, but I saw the Cleopatra Records logo and figured it was some sort of goth/industrial. Turned out to be more like 80s synthpop. Nevertheless, I enjoy it quite a bit.

I'm assuming you picked up Don't Be Afraid? I quite like that one, though I could do without all the talking bits in between tracks. I've actually thought about making an edited version. White Roses was an internet scavenger hunt. Of course the actual bits from back in the day are long gone, but if you can't find and want White Roses, let me know.

How can you not remember What's On Your Mind (Pure Energy) though from their first album? You should seek that one out too. Their second album Hack is ok, but I had a roommate that played it way too much and I got really sick of it. If I come across a cheap copy I'll probably pick it up again, but I'm not in a hurry. I really didn't care for their thirs album Peace and Love Inc. though.

This is a fun mix of Pure Energy and Walking Away from their first album. Another fun fact about their first album is that is a CD+G disc, which the Sega CD will play. :)

Actually I picked up InSoc Recombinant, which is a remix album apparently.

Somehow I completely skipped over this band back in the day, when I used to listen to more electronic music.

Good stuff.

Diggin this tune right now.

Ulterior Motive: Elephant Tune

Like the package says, it sounds like an elephant. Big, slow, heavy, and powerful.
