Re: Xenoblade Chronicles
I think it's silly to hoard games to sell them at a later date. With inflation you will probably be getting less money, and unless it's something that is very old and VERY rare, they rarely sell for more than a modern. game.

I tend to agree that old games usually aren't worth more than new ones and buying video games on speculation isn't a very efficient way to earn profits. Especially not when you consider the length of time it takes for your "investment" to mature.
But a great game - one of the best RPGs of this console generation by most accounts - with no online features to affect future play, on a platform most gamers have already abandoned, released in limited numbers through a small number of channels, and at the tail end of the console lifecycle?
Xenoblade has a better than average chance of being sought after once it's sold through the print run unless it an HD revision comes out. Wii U offering backwards compatibility ups the odds even further.
I know many of the Xenoblade side-quests aren't this awesome - most are just collecting items or killing common enemies. But when you do find an exciting little quest with multiple requirements and special enemies involved, it's a lot of fun.

Oh, it gets better. There is a little chain of really cool side-quests very close to the point that you are at, that (if you decide to do them) will definitely leave an impression.Gamerforlife wrote:So I'm doing this sidequest, ...

Wish all the side quests were this cool
