Like a crack fiend, I've been back to this place two times already. Sometimes the lights are on, sometimes off. When the lights are on, it appears to be because mechanics are working on some of the machines. I think this is all part of the process of getting things up and running.wip3outguy7 wrote: The lights in the racing area have been dimmed.
I agree. The main four player cabs I've noticed are WWF Royal Rumble and Gauntlet Dark Legacy. WWF might be good for a laugh and Gauntlet DL is fun if you're into hack N' slash. Speaking of 4 player cabs, a worker emerged from a back room and, with the door open, I glimpsed a Cyberball 2072 machine plus a handful more of machines being refurbished. Also, in another corner blocked off, there was a NARC cabinet (among others) being restored. The point is that there appears to be a pipeline of machines being readied for the floor. In other words, there's definitely "more to come."wip3outguy7 wrote: We kept coming back to Zombie Revenge and phaedrus realized this was because there was a serious lack of beat em' ups. Sure there were multicades, but I would love to see some 4 player Simpsons and Turtles cabs.
Game Over is free plus they already have at least one (gigantic) TV available for us. We could just spend a few hours at Game Over and then transition to Pinballz. If we were to rent a room at Pinballz, I imagine it would be difficult to keep people cooped up in that room with all the arcade fun to be had in the main area. Pinballz is the sort of place to bring a large group AND let them run wild, not cage them up.wip3outguy7 wrote: The one party room that I have actually seen is a good size and would be great for a meet up. We would be bringing our own TVs and there would probably be a small payment required. Even then, if we held the meet up at Game Over, this place is only about 5 mins away.
