And I like BoFIV a lot more than III, it's easily in my top 10 favorite JRPG's. Excellent story, music, and everything. I've never been able to get into the first two. I'll have to give them another day sometime, but yeah.

That's a goofy thing to say anyways, since the BoF's are all stand alone. It'd be like saying you didn't enjoy one FF so you give up on them all... lol.

You should play that Breath of Fire III you have, and then get to IV (or so I'm told, since I've yet to get to IV).

I'm still working on the first game, but I am not even sure I will continue the series after this. I noticed that the second game is often unintelligible due to the translation. I'll keep the games around and give them a try, though.

You can always download the retranslation patch someone did that makes the translation much more coherent.

I have been playing alot of Blue Dragon on Xbox 360 lately. It is surprisingly good, one of those buy 2 games and get 1 free at GameStop deals lol.
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)

Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping! :)

So I just made it to chapter 3 in Icewind Dale. So far I'm really glad that my casters are dualled from fighters; if I was running pure casters I probably would have stabbed myself in the eye after managing them in regular fights.

I had to reload my Icewind Dale save about a dozen times trying to get through the very first battle without my pure Mage dying. He would die to a single sling hit from a kobold.

The opening of Icewind Dale is especially hard, since they throw you into several group fights, so it's that much harder to keep mobs off your back line.

Woo, I beat the Soul Shrine in FF6 Advance! It seems with each new version, the game becomes more and more ridiculous. For instance, I managed to steal a second Ragnarok and Ultima Weapon during the final tiered battle with Kefka, and during the Soul Shrine I picked up a second Master's Scroll, so both Edgar and Sabin were doing 8 attacks while I made sure to abuse the Doublecast/Quick trick for 5x Ultimas.

Still, that final run of the Soul Shrine was brutal. Having to face the redux dragons from the Dragons Den in a row followed by the Kaiser Dragon was brutal. I have earned my Masters Crown.

I am playing the Together Retro game this month, Baldur's Gate. The game is incredibly difficult and requires a lot of patience and perseverance, but it has been worth it.
