Wha? This seems shocking coming from you Erik. As Bone says, fix now.ZenErik wrote:I picked up Ys Seven and Wild Arms. Have never played a Ys game and have only played Wild Arms 2 from that series. Should be interesting!Persona games I will definitely get eventually. How are 1 and 2? I hear they're a bit different.

They're quite different from 3 and 4, yes. Covered in Hardcore Gaming 101's Megami Tensei article.ZenErik wrote:Persona games I will definitely get eventually. How are 1 and 2? I hear they're a bit different.
Unfortunately, as you can see there, there are actually two games released for Persona 2. The PSP one is the only release outside of Japan for Innocent Sin. Meanwhile, the second game, Eternal Punishment, got an NA PS1 release years ago, but no PSP version outside of Japan yet (and not on PSOne Classics either).

If we are going to derail the thread anyway, I will suggest Legend of Dragoon. It pushes 40 hours, but its one of the best RPGs I have ever played.

Honestly, it seems as though arrows are a must have. I just found a place in Sen's fortress where I almost have to kill the Serpent Caster, or else I'm SOL.Dylan wrote:That's a shame, because about 4 more arrows would have done itForlorn Drifter wrote: I guess I should have worked to get the Drake sword, but after 80 arrows I got very tired of it.
Don't underestimate the value of taking things slow and giving yourself every little advantage in Dark Souls. Also, don't be afraid to be "cheap" with things like arrows.
I do wish the game was a bit more brightly colored at times.

I just started Knights In The Nightmare and I think I'm in love. This game is so pretty. It requires laser focus and twitch reflexes but you also have to really think about how you're building your army and don't miss any key items.
I'm playing on PSP, it's also on DS and I think Vita. You may want to add this to your list, it's insane.

You should play that Breath of Fire III you have, and then get to IV (or so I'm told, since I've yet to get to IV).Zing wrote:If we are going to derail the thread anyway, I will suggest Legend of Dragoon. It pushes 40 hours, but its one of the best RPGs I have ever played.

Working on it. But it can't be immediately. Got to finish Persona 4 Golden and Final Fantasy XIII-2 first.Stark wrote:Wha? This seems shocking coming from you Erik. Interesting. I imagine if EP isn't out here yet it is probably never coming. I will certainly play Innocent Sin. Sounds pretty good. If I like it I will just have to buy the PSOne version of EP. The original Persona sounds the least appealing, but I might as well try it eventually.isiolia wrote:They're quite different from 3 and 4, yes. I'm about 30 hours into Persona 4 and I love it. I wonder how far I have to go? Seems like I still have a ways.ZenErik wrote:Working on it. But it can't be immediately. Got to finish Persona 4 Golden and Final Fantasy XIII-2 first.

If it's like Persona 3 it'll be 80-100+ hours. Way too long.. But at the same time it is so well done. Definitely liking P4G more than P3 FES so far. Even if just a little more.Stark wrote:I'm about 30 hours into Persona 4 and I love it. I wonder how far I have to go? Seems like I still have a ways.ZenErik wrote:Working on it.
