The scene in the hospital, where the 2 gangbangers are going to fight in the ER, and Foggy does his stop the madness, eye for an eye / whole world blind schpiel. It was painful. Turn off netflix painful. He's wretched.
I liked that scene! Haha. Actually felt it was a turning point for me liking him more as a character. And they fixed Claire's hair! What was up with it in the first season?

I've been watching Orange is the New Black. I was on the fence with this show until now. I am loving season 4. The character development has been great, the social commentary has been great, and they have managed to find a sweet spot in their balance of heavy material and comedy.

He's an awkward dude. He's supposed to be! Who occasionally exceeds expectations, of course. I think he plays the "lovable goofball" role pretty well.

That would require charisma, of which Foggy has none.

He reminds of a creepy cousin you wouldn't let around your kids.

We root for the lovable goofballs to get the girl, to spike the DA, to have that moment of clarity when the rest of the world has gone to madness. He had all of these opportunities as an actor - and blew them. The script and character will do the work - he overacts it, and his facials aren't endearing, their painful to watch.

My wife and I do root for him though, constantly:
to get killed off
Also - Starge, are you the two guys who actually liked:
Tobey McGuire as Spiderman?

isn't he an actor you just don't like? That's different. I didn't hate him in that. Didn't love him, but didn't hate him. Ultimately I liked Garfield better in the role, though.

Everybody knows Shinji Todo was the best Spider-Man.

Ichiro: But what if the evil truck's evil brothers come after me next?

Spiderman: You're on your own there, kid.

I didn't care for him in that role, I more liked some of the movies despite him and because of Sam Raimi. 3 is unforgiveable though.
