Good choice on FFVA, hehe.
I've had FFV Advance since it came out, but I never did finish the game. Only version I did beat was the Final Fantasy Anthology version.

I want to slap whoever designed the Breath of Fire charts. The monster chart is useless, since the monsters are listed in seemingly random order! The item charts are not much better. They are clumped into groups, but still random.

I recently gained Gobi. I'm not sure how we are expected to use him solo to find the Gills when he gets repeatedly jumped by 2-3 strong monsters just on the way to town! It was the first time I died in this game. I died twice. I thought the penalty was to lose some gold, but I checked my gold number before and after death, and it didn't change.

Anyone know what the death penalty is in this game?

I don't remember; it's possible that the death penalties are waived in Gobi's section. It's a pretty crappy section of the game, to be honest.

At least it didn't take long. I died a few steps into the water, was teleported to Prima, and just happened to stumble south to Gant, finding the gills win a few minutes. Of course I died on my way out from Prima back to the island where my people were.

Looking for more recommendations for PSP and PSOne. Ones that are on the PlayStation Store, that is. So I can play on my Vita. And perhaps I will play some of the PSOne games on Vita and PS3. Thanks! :)

So far I have the following:

PSP: Final Fantasy Tactics, Corpse Party (originally an RPG maker game, though maybe not an RPG)
PSOne, FFVI-IX, Legend of Mana, Suikoden

:| Apparently, despite the fact that the game does not guide you as such, doing things out of order on Dark Souls hurts you... damned Capra demon...

I guess I should have worked to get the Drake sword, but after 80 arrows I got very tired of it.

That's a shame, because about 4 more arrows would have done it

Don't underestimate the value of taking things slow and giving yourself every little advantage in Dark Souls. Also, don't be afraid to be "cheap" with things like arrows.

You should give Wild Arms a chance.

The Persona releases on the PSP are in the store, as are the Ys games, and Tactics Ogre.

I picked up Ys Seven and Wild Arms. Have never played a Ys game and have only played Wild Arms 2 from that series. Should be interesting! Persona games I will definitely get eventually. How are 1 and 2? I hear they're a bit different.
