Wii-U thoughts so far

I wanted to snag Deus Ex since it was on sale, but it has been out of stock for months.

So I got a Wii U for Christmas which is the LE Zelda edition that I wanted. However, I'm wondering if I should return that one and exchange it for one of the other bundles with either the Spyro/Nintendoland or Mario/Luigi games.

While I really like the Zelda gamepad I already own the Hyrule Historia HC and I think I'd prefer a physical copy of Wind Waker. I really like that gamepad though. Any thoughts on the subject?

I'd just keep the Zelda edition if it were me. I especially wouldn't trade it for The Spyro or Nintendoland bundles. I could understand going for the Mario/Luigi one, since that arguably gives you just as much game (plus a physical copy) for your money. The gamepad is sweet though.

Can someone give me a quick tutorial on everything other than games I should be using the WiiU for?

If you get TVii working properly it's neat and gives you some Xbox One style features that people seem to ignore. Which is a shame because it works really really well. I think they just added some fantasy football stuff or something of that sort. The gamepad works as a universal remote too, so you can set that up if you haven't. Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu all work pretty well on it.

Ill check out the TVii thing, I am digging the remote function - simple but useful.

Many have stated when the online component was down that it sucked since the MiiVerse is a huge plus for the console. I don't think I'm getting the idea of MiiVerse and haven't used it yet. That is what I was getting at when stating "other than playing games".

My vote is with GSZX. If all you're doing is playing games, you're doing it right.
