Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I remember my driving test. It was a breeze since they took parallel parking out of the equation. Instead all I had to do was pull up next to a curb and just reverse back a couple feet. Also the maximum points you could lose was 15, what was yours AppleQueso?

Re: Random Thoughts Thread
I remember being nervous for my driving test and, at one point, being asked to parallel park in a certain spot. Slowly, I did so, and even after a little adjusting, was noticeable crooked. Not wanting to go back and forth for ten minutes, I just turned to him and said "So do I need to adjust this, or...?"
He shrugged and said "You're a little cockeyed, but whatever. Let's move on."
I did so. Hurray license.

I didn't get a single point off on my drivers license. Not to sound cocky but I'm an amazing driver. Both on the road and on the track. Unfortunately the auto-cross season has pretty much ended here in Colorado.

Yeah, our driving test is a bit more rigid than that. The written test was a complete joke, though, I agree.Luke wrote:Hand to God, Allah, et al, I've never known someone who failed a dmv test (well, expect for you of course). I remember taking an eye exam, a signs test (which was a joke), and then showing I knew how to turn my lights on, and then a five to ten minute driving analysis.AppleQueso wrote:
Never heard of anyone failing a dmv test? Really?![]()
The things that failed me I think will be easy enough to fix up before Monday. Truth be told it's probably for the better that they won't just pass me that easily. This town has enough terrible drivers as it is.
This isn't a dig, I'm just being honest. I mean, I've had friends score an 840 on the SAT, but I've never had a friend fail a dmv test.

Why do links not open in a second page on RacketBoy?...
Would be so much easier than drag the link to a new page every time. Especially if you have a fucked up computer that loses the drag drop connection every five seconds, like me...
