I like the Wii U, I like the the Gamepad, even though I still think blowing into the microphone on Super Mario 3D World is stupid. I liked the price tag, and I was looking to play a lot of the games that I missed on the Wii like Pandora's Tower and Madworld and Boomblox and House of the Dead Overkill etc etc. I like that it's in HD, I don't need amazing graphics to be entertained but it's nice to see they updated the graphics a little bit. And I enjoy the games they have out for it, there are some really fun games.

Do I think it's the best console of this generation? No, none of them are, the Wii U is fun and has some good games and 4 player drinking Mario 3D world is a grand ole time. That's the reason I like it, not because its "THE BESTEST". In the end we all are just trying to have fun, so buy the one you want, the one you think will be fun.

Just rub over the mic for the 'blowing' sections, what I do, works perfectly fine.

Still debating... I think I'm going to wait on buying one for a price drop, but it is Nintendo and they do not drop prices as quickly as others.
Do you guys think the price will drop anytime soon?

Considering they just hacked 50 off the tag a little while ago I'd wager you'll be waiting to next Autumn-into-Xmas to even be in with a hope.

Fair enough.
What about stores trying to drop the extra stock they had for Christmas, or do you guys think there isn't that much extra stock?

This isn't a bad deal if you're looking for a Wii U:

If we factor in the tablet , the HD graphics, Inflation, and the extra 2 games in this bundle then this bundle seems to be more valuable than the Wii at its release for $250 .

That is the deal that I mentioned on the last page. It's only good this week and the $15 back for every $100 spent is only good until tomorrow. I have to decide...

What $15 per $100?

Edit: Nevermind - I see the offer. I would guess that this deal is not included in that offer, based on the fine print. In any case, you'd only get $15, not $30 or $45.

If I could get that Mario bundle & an additional game for basically $250 ($300+TAX -$25 gift card -$45 gift cards), I'd probably bite as well...
