After finding Gaiares and Sol-Deace as loose carts last week, I was stunned to walk into another shop yesterday to find this:

It's nice to have a complete copy of Gaiares now. For a Genesis shooter, that game is great!

I've never even heard of Vapor Trail before. But it looks pretty cool. Have to check it out later

Gaiares is the first Genesis game I ever played (besides Altered Beasts). It kicks ass. I love the weapon stealing mechanic and I'm surprised more games haven't stolen that idea.

It must be my week cause I just picked up a JVC X'eye system only, no cables or controllers for $1.10. At first I was weary but when I brought it home and tested it, everything worked perfectly. The cartridge slot and the CD drive work great.

It isn't as good a game, but Blazeon for SNES lets you do this as well. You actually turn into the enemy you captured.

it must be, even if it didn't work for that price it would have been a nice wall decoration

Found a CIB Lost Vikings 2 for SNES and a cart only of Contra Force today at the local shop. Whoever traded those in is insane.

Also, my buddy who owns a different trade-in shop gave me Virtua Tennis for DC and Mario Tennis for 64, and Mario Kart 64 when I told him I realized last night it wasn't in my collection yet. Awesome guy! And it pays to become good friends with your local shops - he holds me the best of the best whenever it comes in for dibs.

a working x'eye for 1 dollar? holy shit. that just might be the deal of the century!

what did you pay for contra force? my local retro shop has it for like 80 bucks, which i think is a bit overpriced.
if you took a shit, please put it back

$40, not bad for a retail shop. Would cost about the same shipped from e-bay.
