Wha?

Speaking as a German, "German potato salad" is a marketing term that varies from city to city and has no validity. Like "Southern cole slaw" it is a bull shit term.

Even if that is so, it is a handy prefix for "the good kind that doesn't look like it may have already been eaten once". :P

Glad I don't eat potato salad. What exactly is "Southern cole slaw"? Around here it comes one way, disgustingly sweet, also labeled as "Amish" but seemingly the same. However, the peppery vinegar based slaw up north is pretty good. I've never found it locally.

Southern cole slaw, in my experience, has typically just meant that it's loaded with the most mayo to cabbage ratio they could manage while still claiming it contains cabbage.

Sounds about right to me then.

That is all you can find around here, unless you make it yourself.

Why in the hell does eBay allow people to sell pre-orders? It is absolutely asking for people to get ripped off.

I can't imagine that Toad will be rare. I mean, they were actively talking about his use for Treasure Tracker, so hopefully he won't be too hard to find.

Of course, there's always the possibility that I could be horribly wrong, though :?

I'll keep an eye on Gamestop. They had the Wave 3 pre-orders up for a lot longer than Amazon.

You bet!

The cole salad I grew up with didn't even contain mayo.

My Father in law LOVES the cole slaw from KFC. Damn near worships the stuff. It's basically mayo with freckles of cabbage and carrots.

Smile: It's going to be a long day today, and I enjoy a full plate. In a few minutes I'll suit up and head out.

There are many types of Shrimp sauce, but one of the more popular is given out at hibachi restaurants and is often called Yum Yum sauce. I know you have had that version.

You've just been banned from Chicago.

However you are welcome with open arms at the worlds largest hotdog stand though - just tell them you want two dogs swimming in red, a bag of rags, and an FO. You can thank me later.

Ketchup on a hotdog is fine if you hate hotdogs.

Smile: Ordered a signed Johnnie Lucille Collier framed picture. It isn't a pin-up, but still I'm psyched.

For those who are wondering "who is Johnnie Lucille Collier?", she went by the stage name of Ann Miller and starred in the Marx Bros. movie ROOM SERVICE.

Her beauty is draw dropping. She was "discovered" by Lucille Ball and you can thank Ann for pantyhose.

I already have a framed picture of the Marx brothers with Ann Miller and Ball so this is a great addition.

Hot damn:

nullPointer wrote::D - I learned how to play Myage by Descendents on bass (source). Sometimes it just happens where I'll be walking around with a song in my head, and all of a sudden I see the structure of the bassline in the fretboard of my mind. Weird, I know but awesome. Descendents are one of my all time favorite bands, and AFAIC Karl Alvarez is one of the 3 best bassists in all of punk music. It's perfect music for Springtime type weather, and up here in Montana this week we've been catching a much needed break from winter. (I think the Nor'easter has had an impact on our weather patterns.)

that's awesome, but "Myage" was originally written and recorded with Tony Lombardo on bass :)

Descendents rule forever, though, and will always be one of my favorite bands that i'll probably never see. i've done like 3 different descendents cover bands in my life. try learning the basslines to "Coolidge" and "Talking" for a real challenge next!
