Me.

Three letters: BLT

It's not complete without Hellman's mayonnaise.

Mayonnaise reminds me of tomatoes. So many people say "I hate 'insert vegetable/condiment!" yet they eat tons of it on the regs.

"I hate tomatoes" says the person scarfing a pizza.

"I hate mayo" says the person drenched in shrimp sauce.

"I hate onions" says the person who is on their third bowl of chili.

"I hate anchovies" says the person who has never eaten anchovies.

You have all eaten things you say you hate, but have loved it (no sex jokes please). This actually gets a slight rise out of me.

Don't let some shitty dish turn you off from ONE SINGLE INGREDIENT. Not saying you have to eat a raw carrot if you don't like raw carrots, but don't let that get in your way of trying a carrot soup, carrot cake, or carrot souffle.

But I do actually dislike the taste of mayonnaise, and I do tend to avoid foods that I find it in. I rarely eat chicken salad or potato salad and never eat tuna salad, I prefer coleslaw made with vinegar, and I don't eat ranch, thousand island, rouille, remoulade, or tartar sauce. I ask for it to be removed from sandwiches or burgers at restaurants. And I've never had shrimp sauce.

I also dislike rutabaga based on a dislike of the taste from the times I have had it.

Yeah I was gonna say, I am an anti-Mayo person as well. I don't put it in with my Tuna, I don't enjoy the various church-salads (potato, pasta etc.) and I prefer vinaigrette or Italian dressing for salads. I don't have many food aversions, but mayo is up there with pickles (I know. I'm crazy) and with ham.

I think ham tastes phenomenal, but my stomach completely disagrees with me. I can eat pork roasts and bacon and the like, but deli meat ham and a big cooked thanksgiving ham makes me horribly ill. Wonder why that is.

Oh man, I understand this. My stomach absolutely hates spinach. Spinach! Spinach tastes so good, but my bowels absolutely cannot stand it.

Mayo instantly ruins any dish. Hummus and Siracha on the other hand, salvage all food.

This made me throw up in my mouth a little. It's the opposite for me, I love tomatoes and hate ketchup.

It's possible I would like Eddie's "Real tomato ketchup".
