The system auto bundles them in a way that is fair to you (e.g. if you have 3 @ $17 and 3 @ $6 you don't get just the two $6 ones for free, you get one $17 for free and one $6 one free).isiolia wrote:I think it's more an issue of the order they get scanned in than needing to do separate transactions. I bought three cheap Wii games ($3-6 range) and three $15-18 games for PS3 and 360, and got one Wii game "free" and one PS3 game "free" (really more of a create-a-bundle if you think about it).Fragems wrote: Just do pick up at store to find whats in stock and make a multi tiered list for each price level. You might want to hit the same store 2-3 times if you find alot of games with different price ranges.
Might be prudent to split things up if you have more than 2-3 sets of 'em though

I figured that's what it should do, but I had a time when either it didn't do it right, or the Game Advisor was simply confused about it, so I wasn't sure.dsheinem wrote: The system auto bundles them in a way that is fair to you (e.g. if you have 3 @ $17 and 3 @ $6 you don't get just the two $6 ones for free, you get one $17 for free and one $6 one free).

Note that this only works like so in-store. Online, it'll just make the cheapest ones free.isiolia wrote:I figured that's what it should do, but I had a time when either it didn't do it right, or the Game Advisor was simply confused about it, so I wasn't sure.dsheinem wrote: The system auto bundles them in a way that is fair to you (e.g. if you have 3 @ $17 and 3 @ $6 you don't get just the two $6 ones for free, you get one $17 for free and one $6 one free).

Remember getting screwed over once along time ago at a B2G1 sale around Christmas 5-6 years ago so I have always been extra careful when buying during the sale. Nice to hear they have a reasonable system now though maybe next sell I'll run my 6 store raid route and see what I can find. A little low on cash this week so I will be sitting this sale out.
Allotted myself $60 this weekend for hunting and that lasted two pawn stores lol.

I believe they're also giving free "value" shipping to Pro members right now.

Went in the other day and got myself Pac-Man and The Ghostly Adventures (Wii U), LEGO Batman 2 (3DS), and Scribblenauts Unmasked (3DS) for under $40. T'was a good haul for me.

They will make every third game free in order price. You buy nine games they will give you the 3,6,9 game free based on price. They do not give you the last three cheapest games free. At least mine doesn't, maybe other are scammers but mine are good people.

Gamestop once again is having a buy 2 get one free on under $20 used games. This is a good thing in adding to the library. However, for me it is not often I buy three games at once, perhaps others are the same? The free third game will always be the least expensive, an extra game impulse thrown in just to get anything free? Loss of that uncommon game from someone else that really is looking for it.
Well of course the lowest price game will be free, that is not I was meaning. The concern is that third free game will be just anything grabbed off the shelf just to get a freebie and not appreciated by the bundle buyer. It could be an obscure uncommonly stocked game that someone else might have been looking for.
I have found uncommon inexpensive games over the years at only one or two Gamestop locations, the same game selling online at a much higher price. Sales such as this is good for Gamestop but not the collector. A Feeding Frenzy to beat the casual buyer in finding obscure games.
