Snagged the Thief Simulator: Mastermind Edition for the Switch and Friends vs Friends: Deluxe Edition for PS5.

I have a copy on the way and have heard there are performance issues. Hopefully it's still playable though. I did contemplate cancelling and switching to the PS5 version when I saw the reviews coming in, but I so rarely get time to sit down and play games on the TV, I would rather have Switch and Switch 2 versions of games that give me the flexibility to do that when it is an option, but also allows me to play portably or move to a different TV in the house.ElkinFencer10 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 05, 2025 5:17 pm New for September 5
Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion (Switch 2)
I know there is a demo, but I never got around to playing it and my son is hogging the Switch 2 right now![]()

Markies' Games Acquired List Of 2025!
1. Micro Machines (NES)
2. Luigi's Mansion 2 HD (NSW)
3. Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike (GCN)
4. SteamWorld Collection (WiiU)
5. Fight'N Rage (NSW)
6. Donkey Kong (GB)
7. Syberia II (XBOX)
8. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga (GBA)
9. Final Fantasy Adventure (GB)
10. Marvel Super Heroes (PS1)
11. Final Fantasy IV Advance (GBA)
12. Double Dribble (NES)
13. Paperboy (NES)
14. Tiny Toon Adventures (NES)
15. Tetris (GB)
16. Axelay (SNES)
17. Pilotwings (SNES)
18. Dr. Mario & Puzzle League (GBA)
19. Phantasy Star Online: Episode I & II (GCN)
20. Destroy All Humans! 2 (XBOX)
21. Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams (WiiU)
22. Slay The Spire (NSW)
23. The Orange Box (PS3)

I add The Orange Box for the Sony Playstation 3 this afternoon!
It was time to add another game and I was surprised to find that I would be purchasing a PS3 game. I knew that I wanted a longer game, so that narrowed my choices. After a bit of searching, I finally settled on The Orange Box for the PS3. Obviously, when this game came out, there was a lot of hype and buzz about it. I will now be able to play the original Portal for the first time along with the Half-Life 2 episodes.
I also like that I am continuing my tradition of playing Valve games on unexpected platforms. I played Half-Life on the PS2, Half-Life 2 on the original XBOX and now The Orange Box on the PS3. I know this is not the best port of the game, but I have found that it is playable and still preforms up to the task. So, I figured now would be a good time to give this one a shot.

Re: Games Acquired 2025
I was the same haha. Despite owning Half Life on the PC, for some bizarre reason back in the day, I decided I wanted to play the leaked unreleased Dreamcast version, of all versions, for some reason. I quite liked it, as in many ways it was like a remaster before they called them remasters. I later played the PS2 version, which is similar if I remember correctly.
I also have The Orange Box on PS3 and that was my first experience of HL2. Digital Foundry put out a video a while back saying it isn't actually as bad as people make out. I have never beaten the game, but what I did play seemed fine to be honest.

Picked up Spot Goes to Hollywood. I always enjoyed the original Cool Spot as a kid, but never played the sequel. I planned to pick it up at some point and saw one in great condition, so bought it.

Re: Games Acquired 2025
August update:
August:
Mario Vs. Donkey Kong GBA
Pokémon SoulSilver Version
Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer PS1
Spyro: Year of the Dragon PS1 DS
Kirby and the Forgotten Land Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World Switch 2
Total: 5 games
5 games this month. Mario & DK and Pokemon were bought from someone on a collectors discord I'm in, whilst both Spyro games I got from a generous giveaway in the same group. Kirby was probably a silly purchase seeing as I own the switch 1 version, but I did enjoy revisiting it and the new DLC.

Re: Games Acquired 2025
Either I really am not picking up much stuff this month or I am forgetting to update this
But seriously, I think I am genuinely not buying a lot this month. Anyways, latest pick up is Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition for the Switch. I have owned the digital version for a while and a physical copy has been on my wish list for a while. It will save me having to redownload the game whenever I want to play it.
