I don't like waiting for anything if I can avoid it. I wonder what the lowest wait time would be between now and election day. Or do you think every day between now and election day there will be about the same wait time? Hard to say because of how over crowded LI is.

Ohio provides the option for any citizen to vote by mail, and that's what we do every year. Gives us time to mull over the ballot and research judges and the like. And we get them in early enough to make sure they arrive. Ohio has a ballot tracking system in place that's really useful. Mine was received for counting over a week ago!

Nope but I live in the middle of nowhere so it isn't different from any other year. Instead of taking the kids out trick or treating, we had them do a scavenger hunt with a cauldron of candy at the end. They really seemed to enjoy it.

My building banned it. I can't imagine it picking up steam here in the city.

Having to drive around numerous neighborhoods for the few homes in each that are doing it. Most have tables set up with the candy and are out 10 ft sitting back, or just help yourself signs.

I bought a cheap wireless doorbell and set up a 10’ long 3” diameter PVC tube. I send stuff down the tube.

I live in a very busy area near Chicago and did not see a single soul trick or treating this year. Had full-size candy ready to drop from my balcony in case anyone did show but nada.

I just kept my porch light off and didn't participate this year.

Got canned. I wasn't surprised because I've been expecting it since April, but it still hurts.
