Are we going to have a table for Score Attack mode as well?

This game seems so easy - but is so hard.

Despite being an Ibara sequel - it play significantly different and the 4 characters are all so distinct i'll need to focus on just one. I'm in the 900K range right now...

Score Attack

DocHauser - 1,154,480 - Shasta - MAME

Takes a bit of effort to get a decent run in this. My first goal was to reach 1 million, got there eventually. I think I no-missed past the mid-boss and a bit further after that. Got to what seems like the boss. Next goal is to manage to kill it within the time limit.

Do many people own this for the Xbox? I thought there'd be a few more players.

I'm playing - don't have much to report. Game is hard and score is low.

I know I need to use shield for the power shots and scoring...but I keep getting deaths when in shield and I have no idea what is getting me. With the 2 second delay when you die (which is a miserable thing in this game) I can't tell exactly which bullet/enemy/structure it is that I supposedly got hit by.

Also, 3rd mid-boss is an absolute wall. I can get there w/3 lives and just get absolutely obliterated. I'm pretty sure the trick is to take out one side of the beam turrets...but i'm dead 3x long before that is going to happen, apparently.

This game is so much prettier than Ibara...but somehow it's even harder and again, I absolutely loath that delay when you die...every time I think, "Wait, what? Is my joystick unplugged...? Oh, I guess I died, umm, ok, i'll probably respawn...at some point?" Super annoying and I have no idea why they designed it this way.

Yeah, it's even worse when there's a 10k rose drifting off the screen while you're waiting to respawn!

Character choice is a bit tricky too. I probably like controlling Lace the least of the four, but it also seems easier to score with her. I've managed to make it to the Stage 3 boss with Shasta (also picked up a 1up in Stage 3) but my score's fairly low compared to Stage 3 runs with Lace. Haven't tried much boss-milking, though.
