Release dates for the new cards have been pushed back again - to June 6.

Cover art (no idea if it's final) available on Amazon.

Official Neo Geo X website doesn't even list these cards.

They are doing an atrocious job marketing this thing. Is it too early to say it completely flopped?

Can't believe I actually shelled out 200$ for it.. Just a few weeks ago best buy sold their remaining stock for 99$ what a kick in the balls. I could go on and on about the hardware flaws but this sums it up.

I literally lol'ed once I saw the "LOL" on the screen.

I too regret dropping $200. I got suckered into the whole "Limited Edition" thing. Figured that if I didn't drop $200 at launch I'd get stuck looking at them go for $500 on eBay a year later.

Balls.

95% of games/ systems I buy go down in price. Just a fact of life. Just enjoy the machine for what it is.

And I'll be pleasantly surprised if those game cards actually come out :)

Enjoy it for what it is? I bought a "limited edition" that was/is on sale for more than 6 months. Limited edition my ass. It's basically a gimped PSP. This is pretty much one of the only gaming purchases I have ever come to regret. This was just a SHAMEFUL capitalization of nostalgia.

Yes, enjoy it for what it is. We had our doubts about it long before it hit the shelves. I agree with everything you said. If you go back 20-some pages, you'll see my post saying the same thing you just did, and I doubted that the company would ever have their act together to make another SKU without ninja masters. So it's in your hands. Play it and have fun! Or put it on ebay. :)

And what the hell ISN'T a shameful capitalization of nostalgia nowadays? Now if you'll excuse me, I need to pre-order my opening night tickets for TMNT.

That was a joke, folks.

After seeing Game Sack's overview of this system, as a portable, it looks fine, but they totally blew it with the television output options. Also sad that it looks like no (or very few) additional games will be out for it.

That price seems way too high, at least there are some good games included.
