Yeah, those mortars are brutal. Much longer range and deal heavy damage. I'm real trivial with that game and whenever I build a city. I always have to be near gold, I'm so fascinated with it even if it is just a game lol.BoringSupreez wrote:I typically play peacefully enough until the WW1/2 era. I like to play as Napoleon, I like to play in his era as well during the Industrial Age with the war cannons and their infantry units. Got a preference?
What are you playing?

If you're speaking in terms of a military victory, China is beastly on Settler-Prince. China possesses the "Art of War" perk which enables +15% attack bonus with Great Generals, AND they spawn 50% faster than other civs. The Chu-Ko-Nu (Chinese crossbowman) are superb. They can fire twice per turn and the damage they inflict is only slightly less than standard archers....I think? Pairing your Chu-Ko-Nu and Generals is a forced to be reckoned with, at least earlier on in the game.AdamGomez1987 wrote:speaking of Civilization V, I downloaded that game and been trying to get back into it and end up shutting myself out everytime I turn it on..lols1mplehumar wrote:Midnight Goldeneye sessions with a splash of CIV V.

On difficulties ranging from King-Deity Mongolia is sick militarily. The last time I played them (pre-patch) I did quite well. The Keshiks are a little overpowered if not a tad cheap.
I'm still feeling out cultural victories. France and India seem promising.
More on this later...

Personally, I like playing as either Rome or the US. I think Roman stuff is cool.

Super Mario Land, 3 things I've noticed:
1.- The art direction is all over the place.
2.- The games enemies are much worse than the original Mario enemies and they are incredibly cheap.
3.- Jumping is more... touchy here.

I just started playing Folklore on ps3. How have I never heard this game mentioned here before? I'm really impressed with the character design in this game so far. I've only played the tutorial level but I'm excited from what I've read.
And I thought I wouldn't like any current gen rpg's

Playing Chibi-Robo, reminds me alot of Pikmin and Banjo-Kazooie, keeping that house clean and happy! im at the part where you (spoiler) steal the toy receipt for Mrs Sanderson.
Also been playing some Diablo 2, and a little Shadows Of The Damned on PS3.
After i beat Chibi-Robo going to start up a new character on PSO.

Re: What are you playing?
Just finished Goldeneye Wii. The game was just as long as it should have been. Not too long, not too short. I'll probably start The Godfather on Wii or Mount and Blade Warband on PC tomorrow. Haven't decided yet.
Older. Not wiser.

This is why Super Mario Land 2 is the go-to for my portable Mario gaming.KillerJuan77 wrote:Super Mario Land, 3 things I've noticed:

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Is it better? I'm liking Super Mario Land but it's just... average, I shouldn't be saying that on a sentence that includes the words "Super" and "Mario".Flake wrote:This is why Super Mario Land 2 is the go-to for my portable Mario gaming.KillerJuan77 wrote:Super Mario Land, 3 things I've noticed:
