That AWESOME moment when the admin is trolling the troll
Is that right? I paid it no more heed than a highway billboard, so maybe I've been trolled numerous times driving down the road and just didn't realize it. Maybe I got trolled by the second two Transformers movies, despite the fact that I've never seen them after witnessing the awfulness of the first one. Or maybe, just maybe, one of us is going about this in the wrong way.

I tried out a bit of Wipeout 2048 and Hot Shots Golf and both games seem to be on par with their console counterparts. The OLED screen is quite good, and The analogue sticks seem to be pretty decent as well.
I did the same thing earlier in the week at Gamestop and yeah, I'm impressed with the device. Not impressed enough to spend $350 on it though. I definitely see myself picking one of these up down the road.

We tried Marvel vs Capcom out last night at the Capcom event, and the game runs smoothly. I cant play to save my life on the handheld compared to an arcade stick, but the game feels like they didn't cut corners.

We have the demo units at my work, but I was underwhelmed by the Little Deviants game they included.

I just tested out a demo unit at GS. It's an impressive piece of hardware, no doubt, but I feel kind of underwhelmed. Maybe it's from all of the hype. I have really been looking forward to the PSV since the price was announced at E3.

I tried out Gravity Rush and Wipeout 2048.

30 fps hurts Wipeout 2048. It is hard to go back after playing HD at 60 fps for so long. The game does look incredible, however. Maybe the wider tracks (laughably wider) and the incredible detail/depth will make up for the frame rate. It would have been nice to test run at Phantom speeds.

Gravity Rush was very impressive. The game looks great and I had a lot of fun just floating around and manipulating gravity. It felt like a free floating version of Ghost in the Shell for PS1.

The analog sticks had less travel than expected. It will take some adjusting, but they are worlds better than the original PSP's (and even the 3DS's) analog slidey nub thingy. They feel similar to the old Saturn 3D controller's. Most important, they felt very durable.

I will pick one up in the summer when I have the cash.

Another Gamestop impression here. I just played around with it for maybe 15 minutes. The graphics are impressive, it just goes without saying really, but that was the least of my concerns. The device is a little bigger than I had imagined, although since it was attached to the kiosk it may have given it a little more of a bulky feel. The joysticks feel really nice, comfortable, and provide a natural controller feel. I find the buttons a bit small, but nothing that people arn't used to with cell phones nowadays. But as far as the joysticks go, they are a huge step up from the single ridged analog on the regular PSP. I played Hot Shots golf and Uncharted. I havn't played the Uncharted series much at all, but it seems and plays very console like.

Overall, I am impressed with this new handheld, and you guys should make a trip to your closest Gamestop to try it out for yourself if you are at all curious. I'm definitely purchasing one within 6 months.
