I can't speak for the final game as it isn't out yet. But the beta was pretty damned fun.

Played for a couple of hours with a PSN buddy last night. The game is so much easier with headsets. We were able to go all out with T-ENG weapons and ask for recharges from teammates, lots of Plasma Cannon action.

3 Extreme bosses in one day!

Had a great game going last night, probably the best I have played so far in LP2. I hopped into a random game set to hard on 4-1. There were 2 Japanese guys already present. Both were very courteous and everyone was backing everyone else up. We were waiting for each other and taking the level as a party. When we got to the 2nd half of 4-1 we gained a 4th member (also Japanese). He/she was in a skin almost the same as mine, LOL. We turned out to be death twins, trading highest scores through the next several stages.

Everyone kept a cautious eye on Thermal Energy, too. It was obvious that I was the ace VS pilot. My teammates recognized this and kept me powered up so that I could do the heavy wrecking. I don't recall anyone dying from low T-ENG (a rarity when playing 4 player coop on hard). No one was sucking up ammo, either. No one ran out of grenades, even some of the rarer classes or grenades. Some damned good team work. Even 4-3 was no match for us. We cleared that set in record time.

The real moment in awe was the end of the water tunnel in 4-4. We lost our VSs and had to go toe to toe with the 6 mechs guarding the end of the stage. It was a water ballet of death. I've never seen a group move like that in LP2 coop. Lots of baiting and invincibility rolls. I wish I could have caught it on video.

Everyone stayed in the game until 4-5. My twin dropped and the remaining 3 of us took down the experimental weapon and cleared chapter 4. An hour of epic.

Sounds like you had a blast. It may be Thursday, but testing is over and spring break is just 2 days away, so I am definitely happy.

Now, is anyone here up for making a competitive team? My friend got LP2 a while ago, and being the stupid teenagers we are, we started talking crap about each other on what games we could whoop each other's asses in.

I told him I'd get my team together and he'd get his team together, and we'd go at it. I'm positive with you guys on my team, we could kick some ass. I don't know when or if we'll even do it, but sounds like a nice idea right?

Alright, I had a feeling you'd say yes. Now if only we can get the other guys to play. I don't know when we'll do it, but he's the one that brought it up, and spring break is just around the corner, so I'll talk with him and see if we can do it during the endless free time I'll have during spring break.

For our group, I say you should take point in being leader wipeout. Your the one that started this anyway.

Ah yes, the PSN outtage has forced me to find new and interesting ways to enjoy LP2. Like murdering my AI teammates.
