Hahahaha. Funny how he's always talking to someone he wants to put in the game and immediately watches another goal.

Pretty solid match so far, glad I decided to watch this one. Uruguay are no slouches.

Yes! Uruguay held out pretty good but then their defence slackened and they're now out of the tournament. The Dutch are a force to reckon with eh?

Yes indeed. Shame I can't get technical in this discussion though.. It seems after a certain few teams left there's been little interest in talking about soccer here

I loved Netherland's passing game. Very organised, not long passes trying to find a player. All were very skillful and carefully picked. Also all of theirs goals were excellent.

The ref was almost once more the negative protagonist of the game. 3 minutes of extra time and he had the extra time last 6 minutes. If Uruguay had scored in that last play it would have been so unfair.

EDIT

Also Uruguay's coach is an idiot. He substituted their best player cause he thought the game is over. THE GAME IS NEVER OVER UNTIL THE REF BLOWS THE FINAL WISTLE. This is the first thing every sportsman learns FFS man. He might have cost Uruguay their chance to tie the game in the final minutes.

If you want to pick on the ref, you can point to the second Dutch goal. Seems the dude the passing was going towards was offside.

Still, it seems to me that he didn't have any relevant role on the goal.

Yes it seamed like that to me as well, since he actually jumped to avoid touching the ball.

Besides the linesman is responsible for offsides. And he might have seen what we saw as well.
