Now imagine a new developer takes it over and throws out basically everything that made it compelling in the first place, leaving only a bare skeleton that ties it back to the original work. Kinda like how the new X-COM game is going to be a horrible FPS instead of an awesome squad-based turn-based strategy game. That's what MechAssault is.
