Heyo! I came across this great site looking for some Dreamcast AV cables, first thing that came up when I googled for them. I only just realized the amazingness of this fantastic site with all its awesome retrofitted content. Read most of the Dreamcast articles and was scimming through the NES ones since Im considering to re-buying it and start collecting for it. Ones at my local mom and pop shop for aroud $45 in perfect condition. Ive been reading up on games I never really had the chance to play. I was actually trying to quit gaming, just for the fact that it was taking over my life? or something. Im not to sure myself why I did what I did. But I sold everything, I had all Nintendo-things, sans the Virtual Boy. Had 200+ games. I still have my old gameboy stuff but I really want a NES. Im going to see what happens come my paycheck on wensday. Im dying to play this game Metal Storm. I know I can find NES games easily via craigslist and garage sells, online they are cheap, so I think its within my budget. I think Ill manage my gaming with my Dreamcast, PSP, and maybe a NES.
Ive done the next gen thing twice, starting with the Wii which I was supporting through the roof then realized its no fun playing Wii Sports by yourself. Sold that along with all my Gamecube, DS, GBA games to purchase a Xbox 360. Sold that a month ago for $500 with all its crap(awesome system just no budget for it nor time with its xbox live awesome, was consuming my life). Anyways. Im just trying to keep it simple now. I bought a PSP realizing it has some awesome games plus some of my alltime faves. And with the fact that it got Castlevania X Chronicles which houses my two most favorite CV's ever, Rondo of Blood(never played it till this US Release) and SOTN. Plus the import DJ Max Portable alone, whenever I get that.
Dreamcast wise, I got one free from a friend, with no AV cables, just got those a few weeks ago and today I just got a VMU. I have to say, I HIGHLY regret never getting one and will rate it among probably my most favorite system next to the NES. Enough about that, sure your sick reading about this. A little about myself.
Names Adrian, live here in outskirts of San Antonio, Tx. Im 20, just got hired at walmart, and drive my moms oldsmobile. Also love IcePops. Been gaming all of my life since I remember which actually was 5 years old, bought Kirby's Adventure at KB Toy Store for $8.99, my brother got Zombies ate my Neighbors. Crazy how I know that. A
And I have to say, Ive been lurking for a few days and this community here looks to be fantastic. Im happy I came across this place.

Hi guys, I'm a long time lurker on this wonderful site. My English is not very good, so please excuse me if I make any mistake. I grew up with C64, NES, Amiga, and PC. I began retro gaming when I wanted to play a dragon ball game and discovered zsnes sometime around 1998. Looks like I'm in some sort of gaming depression since 2002, lacking the drive to play games, but i still enjoy reading about them.
Hi there, I've been lurking here for a long time and finally decided it was time to register
I play games on most systems, although somewhere along the line I seem to have turned into a collector, currently owning NES,SNES, N64, Game Cube, Wii, Master System, Mega Drive, Saturn, Dreamcast, 3do, CDi, PS1, PS2, XBox, Atari 7800, Jaguar, TG16, and a PC Engine (white) AND a bunch of handhelds

I don't usually join any forums. I've been checking this site daily since I've discovered it, so I almost felt obligated to join this community.
My name is Glynn. I'm 26 years old. I've been gaming since I was a wee lad. One of my first gaming memories is convincing my little brother that Luigi was the coolest character ever - so I could get my turn on the NES first.
I'm very partial to the old SNES RPGs of the early to mid 90's, as well as some PSX titles. As an avid football fan, I also play Madden somewhat regularly. I currently work offshore, so most of my gaming is done via emulation. I have a Wii - but it's waiting in my closet until Christmas so my 4 year old son and I can open it together. (Now I know what torture must be like. The Wii has been in there for over a month....) I am also teaching him of the greatness that is Mario. This may sound bad, but his primary motivation to learn to read is so he can play Super Mario RPG.
I look forward to being a member of this forum. You guys rock.
