Wow. Now that's a palace fit for a queen. The clock is a nice touch.Stark wrote:It is super solid, I was standing on the second level and wasn't worried at all. All cedar and tons of bolts, took me two days pretty much to put it together. The fun part I mentioned was seeing the girls play with it, not actually putting it together.BoneSnapDeez wrote:^ T. hat looks great! I was looking at similar stuff at Home Depot just yesterday.

Good on you Stark. Really hope your set up had some decent labeling and instructions as building those things can be a beast of a project, especially when you know kids will be playing on them.Stark wrote:Family looking good Dave!
You appear to have a disc for a face Luke.
Had fun installing a new playset for the girls. Moira can't really go out to the park too much right now, so we figured it would be ok to take on the expense of a new playset and it was on sale at Costco.
And I do have a disc for a face. I'll post a random pic here or there, but hate (hate hate hate) when people post my mug online without permission, so hence the disc face. These days people don't even have the courtesy to ask "Mind if I post this?"
Digital privacy and all that.
Yes. All that.

Excellent job, Mitch - looks great!
Did it come as kit, or just instructions w/parts list?
The hardest (most oft overlooked) part of those or really any outdoor structure getting a level foundation. Looks good on all counts - thanks for sharing.

I'm interpreting your question as: "Did I have to purchase and cut the lumber myself" which is no, it came as a kit with all the lumber pre-cut and holes pre-drilled in certain locations. It was quite a lot of instructions and parts to go through, but they were all laid out logically and it even came with a instructional DVD which was nice.mjmjr25 wrote:Excellent job, Mitch - looks great!

Speaking of which, I never posted the finished beds I did for my girls, which I did have to do by hand. I'll post pics soon.

I can spare a laborer, if needed:
Or this guy - he's brave and crazy strong (my nephew)
While were at it; picking up our new van (13 yo, but only 80K miles)
And my son right before he jumped (to me below), youngest daughter just mad about it:

I think there's maybe 20 pictures of me floating around the internet. And most were posted by me.
I have maybe 3 photos of myself on Facebook. Most pictures I post are of my daughter. She's much cuter.
My sister-in-law has something like 900 photos of herself on Facebook alone. About half of them she posted, the rest are "tagged." She's only 5 years younger than me but I feel like we come from completely different generations. She gives no thought to online privacy.

I dont post a ton of pics of myself, but I don't really care so much about online privacy. I am not that interesting or important that anyone should care to want to access my pics.
