What was the last movie you've seen?
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Rewatched The Simpsons Movie back on Friday while I was doing laundry.

Finally saw this the other day. I have little to add except to agree with all you said. It's a fun, stylishly cool movie, and it left me wanting more in the best way. So refreshing to see such exquisite choreography without some shaky cam nonsense, too.

I know some of you in this thread were interested in seeing the nonverbal documentary film I directed last year, so I thought I'd pop in to let you know it is coming to home media later this month! You can order it at the film's site here:

If you like nonverbal film, industrial and/or environmental history, and/or synth-driven film scores, you should find it worth checking out!

Did anyone see the new Alien movie yet? I may have a chance to go this weekend but I don't know if it's any good or not.

I'd call it second best for me, based entirely on personal preference in movie genres. Everyone who has seen it says that Romulus makes a top 3 with the first two movies, and the question comes how you rank the three amongst themselves.

Look what I found on Peacock? I was looking for this and after the search feature on Roku turned up bupkis, outside of "free" streaming services, I decided to go looking for it. And the first place I looked was where I found it.
I can definitely see how this got its cult film status and damn near delighted in its incredulously gory practical effects, which is made more impressive given its meager $35,000 budget.

Revisited this flick in honor of it being Friday the 13th.

I naturally went with the unrated cut.
Also, I just learned that one of the campers from one of the scenes (the one who gets ripped apart in the tent) was played by future Queer as Folk actress Michelle Clunie.

I have a friend named Jason who is a big horror junkie. His collection of Horror DVD's is quite massive and it sits in his basement. He also has a huge Board Game Collection and that is how we are friends.
As you walk down the steps to his basement, he has a poster of "Jason Goes To Hell" right in front of you.
I still think that is one of the best things ever.
