I hope so, heck it would be nice if you could import those that Japan is getting even if it's subtitled for some odd reason in english. I remember enjoying what I caught of the movies on toonami and I wouldn't mind being able to purchase them(heck even digital would be awesome).

What that never happens in anime!!!

It's not all that uncommon for Japanese releases to have English subs, and Blu-rays are often region free as well. The main consideration is that the standard retail price for most media is higher there, so doing so would likely be quite expensive - I wouldn't be at all surprised to see it priced in the hundreds, leaving an import squarely in hardcore fan territory.
Still watching Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu and it just keeps getting better and better. Great monster show with awesome fights.
Also happy to see Tokyo Ghoul and Aldnoah Zero's second seasons starting up. Not to impressed by Tokyo Ghoul A's first episode. Aldnoah Zero looks like it's going to be an amazing season and the first episode this season was a blast.
I watched Metropolis recently. It's really visually stunning, but the story and character development was lacking. Ok, but lacking. Still worth watching. There are also lots of unusual (for anime) juxtapositions of New Orleans jazz music over futuristic settings that have characters that with an early anime art style, and backgrounds with stunning Art Nouveau architecture. It's like the time-periods are all over the place, which is a cool effect

I loved Metropolis the first time I saw it. I was lukewarm to it the second time. After the third time, I decided it would be a bad idea to try watching it again without a loooooong break. It has it's good parts, but it's a deeply flawed film.
I'm kind of curious to revisit it now that I've read some Osamu Tezuka manga; he had the idea of creating "stars" for his comics that would be like actors and so there are characters in Metropolis who look exactly like characters in other Tezuka titles, like Astro Boy. But I also know Tezuka considered the Metropolis manga to be one of his weakest works. I'm also now a little more familiar with the director, Rintaro, whose output tends to have a lot of movies that are very beautiful but nearly unwatchable in every other aspect. So Metropolis fits in well with his output.
ALSO for anyone curious, I'm almost done watching the fancy-pants Cardcaptor Sakura blu-ray box. It's really a great show but I think I'm burning out of "little girl's feelings" and will have to watch something completely the opposite next. I think I'll try some Golgo 13!
Right now, trying to finish my anime collection I have collect for few years but never have a chance to catch up most of it. This year, I just finish the anime below as of this month.
Abenobashi Magical Shopping District
Full Metal Panic!
Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid
Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu
Battle Angel Alita
Excel Saga
Iria: Zeiram The Animation
Mezzo DSA
Mezzo Forte
Noir
Golgo 13 has one of the funniest sex scenes I have ever seen. He just lies there looking cool and the girl is reeling in ecstacy. Duke Togo is a super stud of extraordinary magnitude.
