I love that they do this for budgetary reasons, but this will surely spell the demise of the show. Dummies.

That's so utterly bizarre. That's gutting a large portion of what makes the show so good.

I hope they go for the "she takes a job with the FBI and can't stay here" or the "Castle decides he needs to go to LA for reason X and can't stay here" versions, so they can possibly undo their mistake when they realize that it was dumb.

I suspect it'll be "Beckett is now permanently on the run with Castle's mother-in-law".

Been watching Sense 8 it's a pretty cool concept and has been entertaining so far aside from the fact that they seem to enjoy pushing a bunch of excessive love scenes. Which was kind of a turn off the first two episodes but things have started getting interesting around episode 4/5. Show could have a really cool pay off since it's basically 8 people in a kind of cloud state sharing memories/skills with one another. So essentially they can tap into one another to make themselves bad asses when the need arises. The shows really slow as far as them figuring out their ability though i'm halfway through the season and only one out of eight people understands what the hell is going on while the others are still just randomly tapping into each other.
I'd recommend checking it out though it's been a pretty cool so far with and I'm really liking the actors. But yeah definitely not a show to watch with the family been a lot of dick shots and excessive sex scenes

. If you aren't comfortable with LGBT stuff this probably isn't for you either they push it pretty strong.

As far as not-anime goes, I'm currently watching Shogun:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sh%C5%8Dg ... iseries%29It's from 1980 but it's still awesome, and looks great on bluray. There's only three episodes, but each episode is three hours long. I've only finished the first episode, and I'd have the others finished by now, but too much dreaded real life stuff has been getting in the way. I'm hoping to have it finished soon, because I really enjoy the plot and characters. The authenticity of the production is off the charts.

Dude no lie I watched the first episode on netflix just last night. I saw it on TV a few times way back but never got going on it. But lately I've been digging up all the 90's sci-fi shows. This one is better than the last one I tried, Sliders.

Saw a bit of the first episode of the new Netflix show The Ranch the other night and it is god awful. Jokes are so hit or miss that it feels more awkward then a Jeb Bush speech.

To make matters worse they have to have a long pause and laugh track at least 4-5 times a minute to make sure that you understand that what they were saying was in some way supposed to be funny.
