He fixed them all by replacing a resistor on the controller port board. Apparently it's pretty common for aftermarket controllers to blow a resistor on this board. Oh, I've been using the standard first party controllers on mine. A friend of mine said something about calibrating the disc drive or something? Yeah I really don't know.
