What was the last movie you've seen?

If I lived in NYC I'd definitely try to go to the movies at least once a month. Unless I get a job at a theater.

Even my boring government city has showings like this quite frequently. There are many places outside of NYC that does it.

Cleveland has an independent theater and several chain theaters that sometimes show independent films and theater events. Damn straight NYC isn't the only place with independent movies.

Also, some independent theaters have digital screenings and streaming subscriptions available. So that's another way to watch, no matter where you are!

In the meantime I just ordered a 100 inch projector screen, so if I can't see foreign, cult and unusual films in a theater I can at least watch them on a big screen in my yard.

Or someone else's yard if I can get everyone to stop scattering long enough to commit to a movie night.

If I was in NYC, I would eat at the world's largest Olive Garden.

All the excellent restaurants serving authentic Italian cuisine and you'd eat like a basic bitch?

If I lived in NYC and my family came to visit, I'd cut out my tongue before I suggested a chain restaurant.

And I bet all the NYC Racketeers would agree with me.

We call ourselves Racketeers, right?

I’d eat at Duck Donuts in New Rochelle. Maybe you could request a transfer, @REPO?

I haven't been on their payroll in over a year and a half. Just as well, since I make more money, especially since I don't get laid off in the fall.

Watched Disney's Hercules yesterday while I was building my new media shelf for my Blu-rays.

I haven't seen it in ages and forgot how hard the music slaps, but that's Alan Menkin for you.

Also as someone who feels out of place who dreams of finding a place where they belong, much of the title character's journey resonates with me.
