Yes, I'm wearing a Van Dyke right now. It gives off the illusion that I have a chin. I'd prefer a full beard if only I could make more than three hairs grow on each cheek concurrently.
I never cut myself while shaving. I just lather up some soap and use an old disposable razor for the umpteenth time. I honestly haven't bought new razors all year. I've thought about switching to a straight razor though.

It's generally me lopping the tops off the bumps around the hair follicles or pores or whatever, not me gouging.

I have yet to make the switch to a true throatslit/straight razor. I'm on the Double-Edged Safety Razor and love it. Yeah you have to lay out a couple bucks upfront to buy a handle, but the actual blades are just dirty-cheap for good quality ones from Amazon.samsonlonghair wrote:I never cut myself while shaving. It's a good compromise between cost and safety IMO

I made the switch to shave gel from cream like a year ago, big improvement. Keeps my white trash facial hair in check.

First on Tuesday a kid had a "accident". I was looking some items up on the computer when a parent quickly walked by announcing their kid had an accident in a aisle. It was just a small child so I was expecting a small puddle since the kid was maybe 3-4 years old and all of 60-70lbs. However this kid must have had a super bladder. I shit you not he pissed a 100+ foot trail all through the preschool area
The other screwed up situation happened Christmas Eve when a seasonal who had been working for a over a month took a smoke break and never came back. To make matters worse there was chatter that he may have helped himself to his cash drawer on his way out

This has been an absolutely lame Christmas. This hasn't even been a holiday. I worked yesterday and today and no family gathering or anything like that. It's just. so. lame. I also have to make my way to work in a blizzard. The snow just wont stop!
On the plus side got two new slick pairs of shoes and $50.

While I was in college I worked one Christmas season at Toys R Us. It was pretty much the worst job ever. The customers were fine, it was the managers that were awful. I haven't worked in retail since.Fragems wrote:: Holidays were crazy at Toys R Us and last minute shoppers can be a nightmare. Plus a lot of the seasonal workers either quit or simply stopped showing up for work. Luckily I didn't have many really bad customers come through during my shift. However a few annoying things happened.

Took us twenty minutes to mop and sanitize the floor.

Christmas was shot to shit today here too. We were going to have the usual big dinner, but my wife's brother's entire family of 4 kids and them ended up all sick. One sleeping in the bathroom blowing chunks all night, others feeling nearly as bad or just way off so that blew it all. Ended up going with her parents to IHOP to get a Christmas dinner for lunch, which was good, but still...ugh.
