Generally Tier 2 reps are only there to de-escalate you. Ask for billing, or for them to send a ticket to billing, and for the invoice # on the unauthorized charge. If you are given a ticket, expect 3-5 business days for billing to respond. In the meantime, contact your bank with that invoice number and say you've contacted the merchant about this unauthorized charge and need it disputed.

Thanks, will do. I could have used a little de-escalating honestly. I was doing my level best to remember to be courteous and that it is also the holidays, but the rep I had wasn't making it easy. The amount of time I've put in is exceeding the value of the charge at this point, but I'm kind of at a point were it is a matter of principle.

:D :( :o  :P

Grandma supposedly invited a cute 23 year old Vietnamese girl over for Christmas tomorrow since she doesn't have anyone here to spend the holidays with.

Grandma... with family... this can only be awkward. Can't wait?

I got a buddy who's a few years older than me (I think he's 37? Maybe 38? He always makes himself out to be soooooooo ollllld when he's like 4 years older than most of us) and never has more than a light moustache, maybe some traces of goatee. He's considering getting it lasered off. Heck, if it wasn't expensive I'd think about it too because like you said shaving sucks. But I at least rock my Van Dyke beard quite effectively.

Laser can be affordable if you shop around, but yeah. I'm needing to look but you know, money. Right now even 'cheap' is too much.

Be careful, it's not very effective if you have really light hair, 'cause the way it works is based on the contrast between your skin tone and hair follicle tone, and it isn't always permanent. Most places will at least do a free consultation though. I know there's certain types of devices that these places often use that do a better job, but frankly it's something I need to do more research into.

At least it's not electrolysis though. It's more permanent, but it's way more expensive, takes way longer, and is ridiculously painful (I mean you're getting needles shoved into your face and then an electric jolt is zapped into it after all).

Who knows! It could be spectacular! At least if it turns out awkward it will be hilarious!

Me!? I've been working far too much and when I do have christmas, it will be with the in-laws and their horrible inability to cook, with me half asleep as work has taken it's christmas toll. Wouldn't trade it in for the world as I still get to hang out with some awesome people and of course, my loving wife!

I had problems shaving for a while until I went old school. I use a brush and actual shave soap and not canned goop. I also got a straight razor but that was terrifying. I now use a Gillette that takes razor blades. Much better shave and so much cheaper after the initial investment.

It always surprises me to see how often so many men shave. I've never shaved two consecutive days in a row. I love facial hair.

:? Long string of crappy-ass weather that will continue through Christmas. Winter in Maine is pretty bad generally. It's rarely the big cute white soft fluffy snowy weather. Usually it's just rain, "wintry mix", slush, and other dreary nonsense.
